We got a scooter for Christmas. I think my mom actually expects us to haul her around on it. Dayse is really excited but that's not suprising, she's not too bright. I mean I know I'm a sled dog and that I shouldWANT to pull it and all, but I would much rather watch her do it. I've got to many other things to do. Who's going to protect the house from alll the birds and squirrels? Maybe if i satrt doing the dishes mom won't make me go!

Day One - My New Home

I decided it would be kind of cool to tell all of you about how I came to my new home. My new mom is SO cool! I have been with her for a bout 7 months now, and it's been a blast!
I was rescued from the Castro Valley Animal Shelter last April. I kept running away from my old house. I don't remember alot of it, but I do remember my foster mom. She was awesome! She loves Sammys and took really good care of me. We were hanging out in Walnut Creek at some place where there was lots of other dogs and cats and stuff. My new mom cmae up to me and I looked up at her and knew I was going home with her. She was so nice. I could tell she needed a friend, so did I. I wanted a place to call home.
I played it up really good. I let her pet me and even rolled over on my back. It must have worked because that night I was sleeping on her bed with her and we were tired! I got a bath and got to pick up some cool toys. Now I live on a .25 acre with a big backyard and lots of trees. I have my own pool and crate. I share all of this with my little sister Dayse, who is also a rescue. I try to keep her out of trouble, but she isn't too smart.
