Likes:
Mom & Dad, playing with other dogs, taking the stuffing out of every toy and spreading it around.

Pet-Peeves:
Having her picture taken!

Favorite Food:
Cheese, peanut butter, special cookies that "Grammy" makes for her, and anything she can manage to steal when no one is looking.

Favorite Walk:
Anywhere...she loves to be outside

Best Tricks:
When she lays down, Grammy puts a treat on her paw and tells her to leave it...she's so good, she won't touch it until she is told to. She also just learned "high five".

Arrival Story:
Millie is my "grandpuppy". She was adopted from a shelter at 9 weeks. Two days after her parents got her, she became sick with Parvo. After two weeks of daily trips to the vet for treatments and a LOT of TLC, Millie started to get better. Sadly, the other puppies in her litter weren't as lucky. She is the love of my life!! She has grown into such a wonderful (and mischievous) dog. She is so healthy now, and such a joy to be around. I love her so much and can't imagine life without her.

Forums Motto:
Save a life...adopt a shelter pet!

My vacation

Mom & Dad decided to take a little family vacation and since I’m part of the family, they wanted to bring me too. I usually stay with my grandpawrents, but not this time! Mom searched the internet and found a hotel on Cape Cod that allowed pups not only in the rooms, but in the restaurant, as well. Mom said the bed wasn’t too comfortable, but it seemed just fine to me…I slept like a baby! We had so much fun. I went to a real dog park for the very first time. Mom was proud that I played so nicely with the other dogs. I got to run on the beach and go in a real store, that wasn’t even a Petco! I felt like a celebrity, because everywhere we went, people wanted to pet me. Grammy thinks it’s because I’m so cute! I’m home now, and I’m exhausted from all the fun! A few lazy days, while Mom & Dad are at work, and I’ll be just like new! I think I like this thing called “vacation”…wonder where we’ll go next? I’m crossing my paws that it’ll be Hawaii! BOL! Ahhh…life is good!

The NFL and MV

My wonderful friend, Max (Dogster #876388) posted this in his diary today regarding the NFL reinstating Michael Vick. Since I totally agree with Max, and couldn't have said it any better, I am posting it here in my diary too.

"Dogster is an amazing place full of happy, silly photos of a new stance, reaction to a toy, happy chases ~ so many cherished moments. And, when necessary, we grieve together when having to guide one of our beloved to the Bridge. We are truly lucky and loved. With that said, this diary post is not about us, but for those beautiful dogs whose lives were not humanely celebrated.

We are very disappointed and saddened that MV has been conditionally reinstated by the NFL. While it’s been stated that legally he’s paid a debt to society, a far greater debt remains and one incapable of recompense. We demand much more than a publicist-driven campaign in concert with HSUS to indemnify the torture, starvation, slaughter and sadism of MV. We want more than insincere atonement and photo ops. We want those lives that were lost to his heinous brutality and greed to matter.

As a personal form of protest to the profit-driven decision of the NFL, from this day forward we will no longer purchase items containing an NFL insignia. This may mean a change in some of Mom’s food items, but it’s our way, albeit small, of honoring the lives of far too many.

Rest sweetly, pups. We will never forget."

Thank you, Max, for letting me put this on my page...*hugs*
