Arrival Story:
I saved Seeger from being euthanized at a local shelter. He had apparently got into a fight with another dog. This must have been due to the stress of shelter life because Seeger was an extremely submissive with other dogs

Bio:
Seeger was in our lifes for only 10 months. He was an extremely intelligent dog who tried so hard to give you what he thought you wanted. Unfortuanately, due to genetics and a negleclted background, Seeger could not cope with the every day stresses of life. His previous life as a guard dog had ingrained in him the need to scavenge and guard anything he percieved as high value. Near the end of his too short life, Seeger could no longer cope with riding in the car, walking in places where people were or being out in the back yard. His life had be come so restricted and he continue to display aggression over things he scavenged. He was a tortured soul. Seeger finally found the peace he was looking for on June 1, 2004. The 2 people he loved the most (me and my sister) were with him untill the end. His ashes are now buried in our back yard. He will forever stay in the only home he ever knew.
