Arrival Story:
At the time that I moved from NJ to SC, my dogs Kassie and Bandit had to stay in NJ with my ex and a home just isn't a home without a dog, so I adopted Tara in October of 2002 from the Florence, SC Humane Society. They said she was found wandering the streets. She had to have been a family's pet, as she was already housebroken and totally trained when I got her. I just can't imagine anyone letting this sweet baby get away! She came into my house on the first day, got up on the couch and made herself at home and she's been a happy, spoiled girl ever since.

Bio:
Tara just loves her sisters! When I got Tara, she was quite underweight. Now, she's got the opposite problem...she's "full figured"! I tell her she's got "junk in her trunk"! She is on a new weight-loss medicine from the vet and has lost weight...it will take a while to get her back to her healthy weight, but she's doing great! Tara is such a love...a snuggler and a kisser and a true Mommy's girl!
