Kalli's Story

We adopted Kalli from a pet rescue agency in Oklahoma. I actually found her on a search through dogster for adoptable pug-pug mixes, and her face was almost exactly like our Lily's, another pug-mix rescue.

Kalli is adjusting to her new family, but loves her Daddy. They bonded on the 10-hour drive back from Oklahoma to Kentucky and she' s never far from his side. She didn't know how to play with toys or other dogs, so it was a little difficult at first for her to transition to living with three very active, fun loving playmates (Putter, Bella and Lily), but she's learning how to enjoy running and chasing after her new fur buddies. Lily's already taught her how to chase squirrels, and Bella's already protecting her squeaky against Kalli's sneak attacks to acquire it from her. Putter pretty much ignores her, and Kalli pretty much ignores her too as Putter is the new matriarch of the fur family.....

Kalli is just a happy girl, and we're glad she fit into the family quickly and easily.
