Arrival Story: This is how Mom explains the story: "I was living in Montana, and noticed in the paper that someone was giving away a young dog for free, due to a move. I went out to see her at their Ranch & fell in love instantly! She was very skinny & very skiddish when she first moved in. She had a hard time going from an outside only dog to an inside dog. She also struggled at first with severe separation anxiety. Whevenever I would leave the house, she would jump out the windows, and subsequently get caught by the doggy police & have to go to doggy jail until I went and bailed her out. Thankfully, she grew out of that habit once she began to trust me, and know that I would always come back to her. Another thing that made me think Angel was wonderful was the fact that she was so well behaved on our long car trip to New York from Montana. It took about 3 1/2 days, and Angel was perfect in the car - didn't give us one problem. It must have been very difficult on her with minimal space, and not so frequent stops -but she pulled through just great. I think she is beginning to think of NY as home. Meeting Angel for the first time was one of the happiest times in my life, I don't know what I would do without her."

Bio: ***I just turned 5!!! Mom had a great birthday party for me. I got lots of new presents & even some cake!!***
I am from Montana, and was raised on a ranch. At the young age of 1 I delivered 11 beautiful pups (that were given away in no time to new families, because I could just not care for all of them alone!). I moved back east in 2002 with Mom -- the move was hard initially. I miss wide open space, her cousins Daisy & Klons, and the freedom of never having to be leashed. I suppose NY is ok, and I'm a happy camper as long as we get to the park as often as possible. I love being showered with love from my Grandparents, Aunty, and many, many surrogate Aunts & Uncles.
Mom is very nice & takes in foster pups & dogs as often as we can. Whenever there is an emergency situation and someone needs a place to "crash", Mom opens her doors & her heart. I love it because I get to meet new friends all the time & show the new pups the ropes. I am a great make-shift older sister, and someday hope that Mom will find the perfect sister or brother to be able to stay with us forever.
