ME!!; licking me in the face; playing with me; lying very close to me; sunbathing on top of the picnic table
High heeled shoes, paper shopping bags, brooms, gnome statues, driftwood pieces in the house--especially the one which looks like a turtle!
Jeannie has begun to sleep with a stuffed animal. She wraps her arms around it like it's her teddy bear.
She loves cheese slices as a treat. I don't even think she chews up the pieces I give her. She inhales them.
We recently moved to a neighborhood. Jeannie is loving our long walks..especially the ones after dark. There are lots of cats lurking around!
Jeannie knows how to "sit", "shake hands", and "lie down." She is great at taking food out of the other dogs' mouths. She gives hugs when we ask her to, and she knows it's time to go into the living room and romp whenever I say "Loose Beagle".
Jeannie was a gift, and she is the best gift I have ever received. She is very loving and lazy until she's ready to play. Then she runs laps all over the house. She loves running in the same pattern. Jeannie is a wimp and is scared of the most common things. I think it's just an excuse to bay and howl.
Jeannie is one of the sweetest dogs I have ever known. She' s a big time cuddler and wants to be right next to whomever's lying down or sitting around. She puts her face in the crook of my neck and "paws" me if I am not constantly petting her. She runs so fast and loves to play "chase" with me. Her fur "spikes" up all the way down her back, and the two of us play and play.

We are at Jekyll Island, GA. It's an amazing place. My mommy has been coming here all her life, and she wanted me to see how pretty it is. The whole gang is here. I can run off leash on the biggest patch of sand I have ever seen. There are no humans as far as the eye can see. Just me, Buffy, and my family. Luke goes down with us, too, but he is a wimp and hates the ocean. I ran after a sandpiper and ran straight into the Atlantic Ocean. I learned the boundary lines very quickly. There were 3 rainbows over the water today, but I didn't really care about that. I had horseshoe crabs to sniff.
At night, we go for a long ride. We saw 16 deer, 3 raccoons, and 2 'possums last night. The deer don't even run away. My mommy told me that the island is a national historic site, and the wildlife is protected. Whatever......I just know it's fun to hang my head out the window in the moonlight and look for deer.
We go to the millionare's village a lot, too. To me, it's just a bunch of really big, old houses and one REALLY big old hotel. My mom seems to be fascinated with the area, though. I watch for squirrels while she dreams of being back in the 1920s with some folks named Rockefeller, Vanderbilt, Goodyear, Crane (as in the toilets), and the AT&T guy. Whoever......boring. I just like to look at the 200 year old oak trees. I have never seen anything so big around and spread out as those trunks and limbs are. Luke likes to mark those trees, but since I am a lady, I just watch him.
She said those rich people chose to build their lives around Jekyll Island year after year, and that even presidents have vacationed here, too. I can understand WHY! I don't ever want to leave. Next time, we are coming in the camper. The campground is near the "deserted beach". That's a beach with big oak trees on it. It's neat to watch the waves swirl around the trunks of trees. Trees on the beach. That's cool to me.
My mom likes to search around this old house on the island. It was built way before I was born. Back in the 1770s. She dug up an old conch shell, and she said people find pretty pottery there, too. I found some deer poop if that counts for anything. Well, I gotta go for now. We are going on our nightly island ride soon. Maybe we will see more 'possums.
