running in the open fields, chasing frisbees and balls, chewing rawhide bones, having people run after her, stealing people's shoes, kisses, being petted, belly and ear rubs, and chin scratches

Pet-Peeves:

rubber bones, tennis balls, frisbees, the fire hose toy, empty Coke bottles, rawhide bones, and especially shoes! ;)

Favorite Food:
peanut butter, bread, and milkbone treats by the bucketful!

Favorite Walk:
in the fields near our house, where she gets to run about through tall grass and stinky mud puddles all to her heart's content!

Best Tricks:
"go find [insert name of family member here]!", "go see who's at the door!", "go to Pepper's spot!", "give me a kiss!", trimming her own nails, and "come here! ..closer! ...just a liiiittle bit closer!" and she'll crawl towards you heehee

Arrival Story:
My husband and I found Pepper at the humane society and fell in love with her the moment we saw her. She was a tiny black puppy at the time, with big feet and two brightly shining doe eyes. She was so quiet and gentle and absolutely adorable. Eager to please, she already knew how to sit- "assied" (in French). Early the very next morning we eagerly drove back to the humane society all set to bring her home with us. We had everything ready for her arrival, including her first puppy kong. She sat in my lap for the car ride home, and she watched us curiously as we sang to the music. It was funny watching her attempt to climb stairs for the very first time, lol! She is my very first dog and I've never met a sweeter animal!

Bio:
At the Humane Society of Aylmer Quebec, Pepper stayed with her brother (neither of them had names at the time). Since that day we brought her home, I've always wondered what happened with him, and if he too found a loving home. I would love to be able to find out!
