Well, when I was young, I really really wanted a small dog that I could pick up. Mom said no, but after some convincing she said, "Okay, but you have to eat your veggies for a year without complaining!" So I did, and on Christmas morning, on the tree was a certificate from Santa for one free dog! So we went to the Humane Society of Hernando County and looked at some dogs. There was one small dog that I really liked, but a worker there said that that dog didn't like kids. So, I was really disappointed, but I ended up picking one of the larger dogs there, Noel. But when we got home, there was one problem - when we said "NO!" Noel thought we were calling her name, and when we called her name, she thought we didn't want her doing whatever she was at the moment. Mom said, "Livy, we need to change Noel's name!" So one morning after watching Rudolph (Rudolph's girlfriend's name is Zoe), I jumped onto Mom's bed and said, "MOM, MOM! Let's name Noel Zoey instead!" and that's how I got my best friend and man's best friend, Zoey.
