What have I gotten myself into???

Hi All!
Just wanted to thank all of you who've followed my entries about the mascot contest and all who voted (and asked friends to vote).
Thanks to all of you... I won with a total of 321 votes. It was an exciting contest especially in the last hour when I was behind by 15 votes. My family and friends were able to gather enough votes to put me 19 votes ahead of the dog in second place!!!
I've won the title of Mountain Maryland's mascot for the month of March, a $25 gift certificate to a pet store in my area (which I will be donating to the local animal shelter) and a photography session with a professional photographer!

contest ends tomorrow

Hi All!
Well... it's the day before the contest ends. I started out the day in the lead 29 votes ahead of the pup in 2nd place. All of a sudden, I fell behind by at least 10 votes. So far I am in the lead again but not by much. It's gotten to be an exciting contest. Lots of nice people are posting my pic on their page and trying to recruit voters.
Wish me luck and please, please, please if you have any human friends who have fb pages, get them to vote for me!!!

Here's what's been happening with the contest

hi everybody!
Just wanted to update you on the contest. Thanks to all the wonderful friends who voted and sent well wishes, I have 106 votes so far.
We did have a little set back. Somebody posted a hurtful. mean, unnecessary comment on my page. The group running the contest immediately took action and removed the post. We also reported the post to facebook. It's unfortunate there are bad people out there who just want to hurt others.
Thank you so much for helping me! I'm honored to have such kind friends to take the time to vote and send me good luck!!! Even though some of you don't have facebook pages, I appreciate your well wishes! It's all of you who make things better and cancel out all the negative words!!!
