Pepper's Spicy View of Life

i turned 7 months

yesterday, mommy took me out to the vet to accompany her in buying my vitamins and food. then, she got me a new red collar because she said i was 7 months old already.
doc jill, my vet was so happy to see me because she said i was very well-behaved and beautiful. and my mommy was beaming with pride. then a couple entered the clinic with their pet persian cat, max who was very sick. the couple started talking to mommy and they said that indeed i was a very beautiful labrador.
then when mommy paid for our purchases, we went to the food supply store where mommy got me some of my puppy food. it smells not that great, but when mommy puts in some milk, its just divine.
after eating, momy gave me a banana and a biscuit then she took me out for our walk. yehey, i was off-leash for about half an hour and mommy did not even have to run that fast because im tired of running and running...so i just explored the vacant lot beside our house. mommy did try to hide from me though but i chased her.
then we went back inside because mommy felt really tired. she did the laundry earlier and her back was hurting. she lied down and got a nap...and i did the same thing.
i was supposed to get a bath but her back was really hurting so she said maybe tomorrow. i dont smell awful yet anyway.
so that was my weekend...

running with grampa and mommy

since it was a long weekend....(barangay elections), mommy was able to have a day-off amd we went running with grampa (mommy's daddy) all over the street.
and i found a tennis ball that mommy uses when we play fetch. she throws it far, far away but i manage to get it and return to her before she even manages to hide from me. hehehe
grampa is also sweet. yesterday, he took me out to play and we were having fun playing fetch then i heard the gate open...and there was mommy armed with a camera.
she started taking pictures and videos of me running and chasing butterflies. too bad, she wasnt able to upload them over the weekend. i had such a great time chasing the yellow butterflies and playing in the empty lot beside our house. oh and i also enjoyed swimming in the puddle of mud (mommy says that puddle of mudd is a great band). then i decided to take things higher and i swam in the canal.
mommy and grampa were annoyed because i had just had my bath...now i would have to get a rinsing again.
then i felt tired so i went near the gate indicating that i wanted to go home already. we went inside and i was directed to go inside my kennel (which grampa made for me but mommy prefers that i stay inside the house).
and grampa attempted to rinse me off but he couldnt manage...i still smelled bad. mommy gave me a quick soap-off to get rid of the stench and then she towel-dired me. it felt great.
then one of my mommy's sisters went down and brushed my teeth and then i felt sleepy so i lied down and slpt the afternoon away.
while i was asleep, mommy went upstairs and she also napped.
running was so much fun!

I was a naughty girl...but I ended up smelling great.

My mommy went to a party and she left me in the house with the rest of the pack. It was fine at first but I started to miss mommy.
I missed her so much that I ate my stuffed bunny's face.

Then when mommy got home, I was so excited to see her that I started biting her and jumping on her. She took me out and as a surprise I went inside the tall grass and went back with a dirty diaper.

Needless to say, mommy wasnt pleased at all. She said I smelled really bad and that my odor will fill the entire house and you know what, it was true. The house really smelled like a dirty diaper when I got in. Mommy was furious and she gave me a good bath.

After playing in the water and the bubbles from my new soap (which smells awful, but I have to use it to get rid of my mange) I was towel dried by mommy and I started to eat the towel. Again, mommy was not very pleased because she said my towel already looks mangled to death.

Then she took my toothbrush and I hate having my teeth brushed. I just ate the toothpaste and mommy did not want to get annoyed any more than she already is and she stopped and just gave me a good dusting of my orange scented powder.

Now I smell really good.
