Missing You

I stood by your bed last night ...I came to have a peep.
I could see that you'd been crying,and you found it hard to sleep.

I whined to you softly as you brushed away a tear, "It's me. I haven't left you. I'm well, I'm fine, I'm here".

I was close to you at breakfast... I watched you pour your tea.
You were thinking of the many times your hands reached down to touch me.

I was with you at my grave today... you tend to it with such care.
I want to reassure you. That I'm not lying there.

I walked you towards the house as you fumbled for the key.
I gently put my paw on you...I smiled and said, "it's me".

You looked so tired as you sank into your chair.
I tried so hard to let you know that I was sitting there.

It's wonderful for me to be so near you everyday,
To say to you with certainty, "I never went away".

You sat there quietly, then smiled... I think you knew
That in the stillness of the evening I was very close to you.

And when the time is right for you to cross the brief divide,
I'll rush across to meet you and we'll stand there side by side.

I have so many things to show you ! There's so much for you to see.
Be patient, live your journey out, then come home to be with me.

Sad news My Baby "Little Bit" went to the rainbow bridge

Bit has a respatory issue for a while nothing seemed to help her, Bit passed away in her sleep last night 12/6/08, she's now with her mama and sisters.
The last two days she had a hard time breathing but she didn't suffer .

I'm going to miss my "Bit" we were a team we had each other after we lost her mama 4 years 5 months ago, we both missed her like no one will ever know just how much.

Now I'm alone my original family has left me, now I need to learn how to live without them this won't be easy.

Bit was born in this house and left from this house she will be at Abbey Glen and be returned home with in aweek, Bit will be placed in the same Urn with her mama where they will remain together forever.
Please pray for my Bit

LittleBit was rush into emergency surgery 3/28/05 @4:32 PM she was diagnosed with an "OPEN Pyometra" the surgery took 2 hours, she is doing fine and should be home Friday. Bit came home Friday she has to go back to have her stitches removed in 10 days, we had a pizza party for her and she had the 2 biggest pieces, and Beggin Strips too ! It's good to have Little Bit home
