 Quick Bio:
Likes: I loved banana strings!!! I loved playing Frisbee and keep-away!! I loved Mom. I LOVED LOVED LOVED wearing my bandana!!

Pet-Peeves: I did not like it when Mom popped plastic bags, I would try to attack them. I did not like it anybody in any way shape or form acted like they were going to do anything to Mom, even if they were playing. I was FIERCE!!!

Favorite Toy: I LOVED my Frisbee and the nerf ball.

Favorite Food: Banana strings!!! Banana strings!!! Banana Strings!!!

Favorite Walk: I loved walking or running at LaFortune Park with Mom.

Best Tricks: Oh MY!!! I had LOTS of tricks!!! My "Bang", and "Dead Cockroach" got the most applause.

Arrival Story: A few months after losing her beloved Autumn, Mom went looking for a new pup. She looked at a couple of litters, but nothing seemed to strike her. Then unexpectedly, she happened upon a breeder at the Tulsa Flea Market. The breeder had the most precious litter of Sheltie pups (that would be us), and Mom picked me out then and there. I was adorable - just a tiny thing, 3 pounds. On the way home, Mom stopped at an appliance place and got them to give her a big box to use as an ex pen for me. It worked very well for me - I had room to roam some, as I was so tiny. My first night was rough - I cried and cried, but after that, I learned that I was home, and I felt secure with Mom. When I was very little, I used to go find one of Mom's shoes to sleep with when I napped. Her shoes made me feel secure.

Bio: I was the best trickster!!! Mom taught me a myriad of tricks - that was my claim to fame. Mom and I attended a lot of pet fairs and I won numerous ribbons for my tricks, my costumes, etc. etc. etc. Everybody said that I was just an amazing dog. I performed for several groups of senior citizens during my life and I visited nursing homes, though not an official therapy dog. However, I had a streak of protectiveness in me that Mom never has seen in any of her other Shelties. I guarantee that I would have bit anybody that threatened Mom, and, since I was large, I did seem threatening to some people. I was Mom's constant companion. I rang a bell when I wanted to go outside. I brought Mom's newspaper in every day. I learned to open the cabinet doors to get food, so Mom had to babyproof them! Mom took photos of me at every stage of my life growing up - that was SO fun, and Mom treasures those photos. I loved the camera. I rode in a wagon. I even took an airplane ride in a small plane once. I loved to swim. I went along when Mom and her friend would go golfing, and nobody ever made me leave a golf course. I even was once on a movie set!!! My photo was in Dogs USA twice, and on several calendars. I was a good dog, and I loved my Mom.

My heart is breaking...

I LOVED my Mom. I was one smart girl. Mom says that she had a special "connection", a spiritual sort of connection with me. It is true. I am sorry that I left you like I did Mom, but I couldn't help it. I am still watching over you, Mom, but now from the Rainbow Bridge. I love you.

I was a winter dog - I was born in the winter and Mom also got me in the winter. I was so small when Mom got me that I had to take little jumps to walk over the short winter grass! I was born 21 years ago today. I have been at the bridge now for going on 8 years. Mom still misses me and I miss her. I miss snuggling with her at night at the foot of the bed and keeping her feet warm in the winter. I know it is winter on earth - I wonder if she misses me lying on her feet. I hope so, though I do know that she has two new buddies to snuggle with, I still know she thinks of me often. I wonder if she misses me running circles in the house - I know that she doesn't have a dog there now that has taken over that job. I was unique. I was loved, I am still loved and I know Mom looks at my picture in her room all the time and remembers...I remember too, fondly and with love in my heart.

Today January 12 is my birthday. And so many Dogsters were so kind to send me well-wishes and gifts and rosettes and bones. I LOVE it!!! FUN!!! My mom always remembers me too this time of year, though today she was a bit preoccupied because Kenzie is so sick and is in the hospital. But I know that Kenzie will be OK. She is young and strong.
Had I still been on earth, I would be 20 years old today!!!!

Kenzie is in the care of Dr. Mark, so she is in the bestest hands. I know he will take good care of her and won't let anything happen to her. Celene and Cheri do not know Dr. Mark and how good he is, but he was my doctor and he was wonderful to me and right on target with diagnosis issues. I bet Kenzie is back as good as new in no time!!
