Arrival Story: One day,we went into a pet store,I know what your thinking....after we had some dinner,we went to visit a dear friend who worked there....we noticed a small Doxie, her price redused a bit,we asked why and all about her, just to strike a conversation up....it turned out,she has been there for 4 months, and had a infection in her lungs....I looked at her,and thought,4 months, poor thing,no one seemed to want her...I could not allow that,so,I bought her, took her to the vet and got the meds we neded for her lungs to clear up.... she was such a joy,and beyond smart.....and ok,way too spoiled.....
when she was 4 years old,she started acting strange, sudden fits, looking off into space, all sorts of strange things..we took her to our vet and they at first thought she was just displaying trying to be Alpha in the group of other animals, but the behavior was getting worse, even with her placed on medication, out of sound sleep she would just jump up and attack, and animal clsee by,we felt this was not just an alpha situation, but something else,we again took her in,and theyy ran a huge series of test..the result,a huge tumor in her brain,in an area that cannot be fixed with surgery....our only course was continued medications....till???? but soon, more violent outbreaks, siezures and such forced our hand,we loved her too much to see her go through something like this, and allowed her to journey to the bridge to be free of pain and suffering.....

Forums Motto: Tiny bundle filled with luv.
