Likes: Attention of just about any kind from a human. She likes to bark at door bells even if they are on a TV show.
Pet-Peeves: She just loves to tear up paper and chew boxes. She hates it when she gets to the good stuff and has it taken away from her. She has skin problems and hates it when her little brother Zack barks and barks telling on her for scratching.

Arrival Story: Chelsie is a dog we got through Sheltie Rescue of Cleveland, Ohio. I had to put my female dog of 17 years to sleep. I missed having a female dog around. I already have 2 males. When I called Sheltie Rescue they only had 1 male that was really abused. This just did not seem like a good Idea with 2 males already in the house. Before we hung up the phone the lady did say she had a call yesterday that someone had a female that was 2 years old she needed a home for. I called the lady up and she wanted to make sure her dog was getting a good home. So we met the next day and she came over to our house with her dog. When she left she left Chelsie behind with us. Chelsie is just a wonderful dog. She is the sweetest dog. She has her share of problems health wise. We take good care of her and we will have her for the rest of her life and we hope it will be a long one. Since we found out her history she is a puppy mill dog. This is why she has a lot of health issues. We can only thank her former owner so much because we are so greatful to have her and Chelsie is the most precious gift we could have ever received. She is the love of our life.
Bio: Chelsie is 6 years old now. Her other friend here in this house had to be put to sleep a year ago, he was 13 years old. Now she is not very happy with the male puppy we just gave a home too. I just kiss and hug her a lot more now to help her get over this puppy problem she has. She does have a very bad case of separation anxiety. When I pick up car keys and purse to leave the house Chelsie tugs at feet, purse,pant legs or what ever she can grab to keep me in the house so I wont leave her. It is very hard to leave the house with out her. She loves to ride in the car. She does BARK all the time. And now her new little brother an her barks together, and this could go on for a hour or so. I let them have their fun and tune them out.
