Arrival Story:
I grew up with Golden Retrievers and wanted one for our family. A friend's dog had 10 puppies so I visited them often. My husband surprised me for our anniversary by letting me choose one for myself!! So I chose a darker colored girl who loved everybody.

OK, I'm a Golden, and Golden Retrievers are known to be pigs when it comes to food!! I'm not a picky eater and will eat almost anything. Like my mom's plastic bowls, the kid's watches, the corner of my dog house, supposedly indestructible dog toys....My mom even calls me a cow sometimes because I love to graze on the grass in the backyard. Good roughage, I say. But I DO NOT chew cud!!
I'm getting older now. My mom has been researching dog food. I'm getting some new food that has better ingredients but she is still searching for something better that is available in our little town and surrounding areas. I've also been getting some daily vitamins for Senior dogs (I am 7 after all and considered middle age). She also started giving me some glucosamine and chondroitin sulfate from Costco (per her research) recently and I'm actually feeling better. I'm not as stiff and have more energy and feel like a younger version of myself again!
