Arrival Story:
After Bruiser left us for the rainbow the house seemed so empty and quiet. The other dogs just laid around the house never played it was as if all their personality and joy had gone. Bruiser was a very outgoing boy and left a huge hole in our hearts. I could no longer take the quiet and stillness of the house so I decided it was time to bring some joy in. I looked at the website for the dog pound I had got Lola from and there was Lilly. She instantly stole my heart.
Bio:
Lilly had a rough start. When we brought her home from the pound she was very skinny. You could see all the bones in her body. She had fleas, worms, and a staff infection. We took her to the vets and immediately started treatment for all her issues. Things started to get better, but by the end of the week she quit eating and started vomiting we were terrified. Back to the vets we went. She had a reaction to her meds so she ended up with an IV and overnight stay. Now thank goodness she is a healthy little girl and you can no longer see all the bones in her body.
