Arrival Story:
Yesh! Sometime back around 2001, my mom's Aunt "Beebe" died and we went over to my mom's cousin's for a after-funeral party. Turns out, while we were inside, my mother's cousin's dog was "doing it's duty" and protecting his territory from an "intruder" dog by picking the dog up with it's mouth...That dog turned out to be "Baby".
Someone got "Baby" out of my our cousin's dog's mouth, and she was kinda running alittle wild across the yard. She was very friendly, as when I called her, she came right up to me. It was the cold of winter outside, so I took her, wrapped her up in my arms, and asked my mom if I could keep her (I'd never had a dog up until that point, just a cat, which I found to be quiet boring at times). My mother had just purchased a new car, but after some persuasion, she gave in.
I took "Baby" home, but shortly thereafter, we felt sorry for a friend whose dog had just passed away and gave "Baby" to him with the verbal agreement that he would take good care of her (feed her, take her to the vet for shots, etc.).
Well, this friend of ours eventually had some "life issues" and chose to "shove the dog to the side". He made some choices that greatly displeased me, one; putting "Baby" in a situation similar to the one I had taken her out of.
So I went, and reclaimed her and now... I'm got da "Baby" =)
