Arrival Story:
My mom bought Hunter from an ad in the paper in 2007, Both his sire and dam were used as hunting dogs. He inherited his large size from his father. Both his parents were chocolate, He had a few siblings that were yellow. I started training Hunter as soon as I got him home. He learned to sit at 6 weeks and started to learn more and more as the days went on. I taught him 50+ commands and hand signals, Including to search for alcohol or people. We were going to get him trained as a search and rescue dog but never got around to doing so. Hunter has always shown quite a huge love for water, He is quite well behaved when he is around the pool. He won't go in unless I tell him to, When I do he dives in. He was entered in Dock Dogs in February of 2011, He did well with his best jump at 8 feet 11 inches. He didn't do a full run but would just stop, look around and then jump. He's such a goof ball, He had the croud laughing when he did a belly flop into the water =P
