Stuff that goes through my mind(?)...

I just don't know anymore!

My mommy came by a week or so ago...WITH ANOTHER DOG! She had called to ask my grandma if she would "puppy-sit" for awhile, so of course, grandma said okay. It turns out that this "puppy" was a stray that my mommy's boyfriend had found while on his route at work (he's a mail-man) and the dog decided to follow him for a while so the boyfriend decided to take him home. Grandma was just supposed to puppy-sit for a few hours, but it turned out that my mommy made a vet appointment for this new dog (ggrrr) because they decided to keep it (?!?) so mommy stayed with us until it was time to take the new pup in for his examination. They named him Chuck. I ask you, what kind of name is that for a dog?...They named him Chuck...their other dog is named Hank...Chuck and Hank...*sighs* oh well, at least I now get to stay here with my grandma and Bailey all the time...for a while, we thought I might go live with my mommy and her boyfriend, but now that they have two dogs of their own, I get to stay here...YEA! I don't think I'd like living with the other two dogs for very long, I'm very neurotic and protective and jealous (yes, all at the same time) and she was my mommy first! so this is better, besides, who would Bailey have to harrass and play with if I wasn't here? Grandma would have to get another dog just for that alone! Besides, I'd miss my Bailey and my Grandma so much! Now I don't have to go anywhere!

On to another subject, it's 5:16 in the morning and I'M HUNGRY! I sure do wish grandma would change that stupid rule about not feeding us so early! Now, instead of waiting until 7:00, she makes us wait until somewhere around 6:00...that's a little better, but not by much! Maybe if I try and look adorable...whine a little...(can I make my tummy growl from hunger?) we'll get fed a little sooner...it's worth a try...

Somebody scared a skunk in our neighborhood a few weeks ago, early in the morning...at least that's what Grandma said it was...PEE-UUU what a stink! At first, grandma thought that maybe one of us had done it so we had to stand still for inspection while she checked us both over just to make sure and luckily for both Bailey and me, it wasn't either of us that scared the smelly thing - whatever a skunk is, it sure does smell!!! WOW!!!

Well, I'm gonna go beg from grandma for a while cuz we're both HUNGRY!!!

FOR ONCE, IT'S NOT ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

BOL!!! Bailey got caught, finally, doing something she shouldn't! BOL!!! Grandma put up her holiday decorations earlier this month, including the christmas tree (pretty). When she was trying to figure out whether or not she wanted to put her usual ornaments on the tree, she left it bare for a few days while she thought about it. Then, she finally decided to put silk poinsettia bunches on the tree instead of the usual ornaments, something different, I know, but it sure looks nice! Anyway, grandma had her niece over one afternoon to help decorate the tree, and by the time they were done, it looked really nice, grandma was very pleased with it! I didn't think anything of it, I mean, c'mon, it's a tree! A few nights later, Bailey decides that some of the poinsettia bunches are in the wrong place so after everyone had gone to bed, she decided to pull a few of the ones she could reach out and while she was at it chewed on them a little (now who's the dumb dog!?!), but then, instead of putting them where she thought they should go, she just left them on the living room floor. BOY, WAS GRANDMA TICKED OFF when she came down the next morning! She's even gone so far as to do it a few more times since then! Finally, I'm not the only dog in the house who finds their way to the doghouse! Well, last night, grandma (finally) thought to remove the bunches that Bailey could reach for the night when she went to bed so that she wouldn't come down to a mess in the morning. Don't know why it took her so long to figure that one out, I mean, if you leave something within reach that's a temptation, it's kinda your own fault when it goes missing or breaks, isn't it? BOL! Anyways, grandma came down stairs a little while ago and was very happy to see the tree and decorations still intact, so Bailey's no longer in the doghouse, at least for now!

Now, if we could just get grandma to feed us a little earlier than 7:00, everything would be great! I'm so hungry!!! Maybe if we bug her together, she'll feed us a little earlier? Worth a shot, will let every one know how it works out!

AAARRRGGGHHHH!!!!!

Grandma changed my picture this morning for my profile - said she was getting tired of the old one (humph!) so she found this one of me licking my nose! I don't know if I should be embarrassed or ticked off cuz I look silly! Of all the pictures she and my mommy have of me, why did she have to pick this one?!?

Nothing much has been happening around here lately, Bailey & I continue to terrorize each other daily and we're still tearing up the back yard chasing each other and whatever else happens to be out there! Especially very early in the morning, when it's dark out and every body in the neighborhood is sleeping...that's when it's the best...I don't know what we're chasing and barking at, but we sure do make alot of noise!!! That is, until grandma comes out and yells quietly at us to get our butts back in the house...sometimes we don't listen right away so she tricks us, asking if we want to eat! I mean, what kind of dumb question is that? Of course we want to eat, we're dogs! So we go inside, then she wipes our paws (when they're wet and muddy), then she makes us wait until 7:00 anyway to eat! (That's when we're supposed to be fed - part of our morning routine), It really ticks me off sometimes, so much that I just have to bug her by sitting right next to her and staring up at her until I think she's going to give in, but she never does, just reaches down and pats my head and tells me I'm a good boy and all that other stuff that I like to hear, EXCEPT WHEN I'M HUNGRY!!!

Hey, gotta go now, food just hit my dish! YAY!!!!!
