A day in the life of Smokey

A lost dog.

Yesterday my mom and I went for a ride and while driving down a busy street we heard alot of horn's honking, we looked around and saw a little poodle puppy running across the street. Mom pulled over and called him and he came running right up to her.He did'nt have a tag or a micro chip so we decided to take him home and make flyers so we could find his owners. Mom and I put them up all around where we found him in hopes that someone would call. We have'nt got a call yet, but I am sure someone will call soon. He is a cutie and well taken care of ! We don't want to take him to the pound ( that is a bad word in our house). Mom said that if nobody claims him we will keep him....yippeeeeyahoooooweeee!! I always wanted a younger brother. I have a brother but he is 14 years old and he gets tired quick and I still want to play.

I got a new toy today!!!!

Yes, thats right. My mommy got me a new toy today.It is a black kitty that meow's. Boy do I love toys that make noise! I chewed on it and threw it around for about 20 minuets. Boy am I tired now....BOL.
Also today we went for another ride around the city. We did'nt stop at the park because my daddy is'nt feeling good today. He was in the hospital for 38 days and had to have emergency surgery on his tummy(I missed him so much while he was gone). He has been home now for 3 weeks, but he still hurt's alot. So I understand that we can't go to the park everyday. But at least I got out of the house( I get cabin fever if we don't get out often). Mommy said tomorrow she will take me to the doggie park...yipppeeeeee!!!

What I did today.

Today when i woke up, my mommy and daddy took me and my brother for a ride. Boy do I love going for a ride. I like to stand on the middle console of the car so I can see everything! My brother likes to sit in the back seat .
We first went to the store and got a slurpee, I love cherry slurpee's! Then we drove to the doggie park and I had so much fun with my brother Harold. We strutted around the park, sniffing the other dogs and having a blast! That is untill a little boxer puppy came and ruined our fun. He kept coming over and beating us up. My brother Harrold is 14 years old and he cant play like he used to. So when that puppy kept being too rough with him I had to step in and tell him to leave us alone. But he didnt understand (I think he was only 5 months old) , he kept jumping on us and hurting Harrold, so my mom and dad said it was time to go. That was ok cause we had played for almost an hour.
I am so pooped now, I think it is time for a nap. I will let you know what kind of adventure we go on tomorrow!!!
