Arrival Story:
We went to meet with a breeder. I had been playing with the two males that she had available (someone had backed out on 1 of them). When we placed the puppies back into their "den" in the kitchen, Max sat by the side of the kennel beside me even though the other puppies immediately went back to their mother and litter mates. Whenever I walked away, he would cry until I walked back over. The Breeder and I were talking about how much this particular puppy seemed attached to me in the hour or so we were there... We filled out all the paperwork, but were still undecided (DH liked a different pup). My darling husband went back the next morning before I woke up and picked out my puppy, Max. He now admits that Max is the perfect Boxer for us, and we love him so much that he is definitely the reason we have 2 more of them! Xena's from the same breeder, but we had to wait a year and a half for her! We definitely lucked out with Max... Thank you to the family that changed their minds!
