Arrival Story:
Josie was abandoned outside a Rite-Aid in Cleveland in the Winter of 2000 in a cage with only a food bowl and a picture of her as a puppy. A family friend picked her up and had her for a few weeks, but was moving to an apartment where she couldn't keep a dog. My mom fell in love with her immediately and took her in, but with 2 other dogs in the house already Josie (who was growing rapidly) was too much to handle. She moved to Cornell with me, and she's been with me ever since...
