Arrival Story:
My mother wanted a dog, and we all went to the humane society to pick one out. Blackie, like all the other dogs there, was very sad and scruffy looking and he barked a lot. The staff encouraged us to take him because he was already an older dog and no one really wanted him. It seemed like it was meant to be because he jumped right into the car the minute we opened the door. His name was Blackjack at the time and he had a really beat-up studded collar around his neck. When I moved out, my mom gave him to me and he's been with me ever since.

Bio:
We don't really know how old he is. He's been about ten years old for almost seven years now. He's slowed down quite a bit recently, and his eyes are starting to cloud over. He was quite agressive towards older women when we fist got him, and he would go out of his way to lunge at them. But in all the years I've had him, he's relaxed quite a bit and is now very docile and friendly. No more lunging at old ladies!
