One year ago today, August 13, 2008, my sweet baby Lexi crossed the bridge to play with the loves' of our friends and family.
I just can't believe that is has been one whole year already; it was so hard letting her go!
I know, she is happy and pain fee now and that gives me much peace.
I still see that cute face and those striking eyes and catch myself looking for her.
It is a bittersweet day, as you can imagine. Lexi was a BIG part of my small family and she helped me personally over a big void and loss in my life.

I know she is at peace now, the Lymphoma is gone and she is enjoying being free.
I will be forever grateful that she came into my life and I cherish the five happy years we had together.
I am also thankful that her "crossing" enabled me to save Mileys' life from certain death - and what a cutie she turned out to be!

Mommy loves and misses you, Lexi. Sleep well, my sweet baby!

Love, Mommy
