I chose the second one. In Santa Barbara I got my second major by going Best Of Breed over Piper, Zipper and another special. I also went WB in the classes.

OH!!! What a wonderful weekend I had! Let's start with the Hotel Stay! I FINALLY got room service! My Aunt Shell came all the way to see me and stayed in my Hotel with me! I got to go up in an elevator. I got to run in a field across the street! I got to eat chips from children by the pool! Oh, It was just so glorious... A stay fit for "Your Grace"...

Next... I won my first major at the dog show! I looked very pretty!

AND now for the best part.... FINALLY.... I Got Jewels!!! Yes, that's right... I got beautiful pink pearls with a pink bone with jewels on it!! OH, wait until you see me in them! My Momma bought them for me after I won the major! She says a Baby Gracie with a Major must have Jewels!

YES, THIS IS " YOUR GRACE" IN ROOM 120. CAN I PLEASE GET A- BLOW DRYER AND SOME CHICKEN. OH, AND A HOT DOG FOR MY- BROTHER. WHAT?

What do you MEAN there is no room service?!!

You read correct. NO room service! My first Hotel stay and I couldn't even call for a blow dryer or chicken!

(" Gracie!! are you still complaining about our Hotel not having room service?!! Enough already!! You didn't need a blow dryer, I already gave you a bath and dried your hair before we left, AND you don't get chicken!")

Anyway, Despite the injustice of not having room service I did enjoy my stay. I saw lots of other dogs! OHHHH, the Afghans were glorious with their long flowing hair and the Ridgbacks were beautiful. I saw lots of Whippets like my Whippet sisters. The dog show was the Western Hound Classic so, all the dogs at our Hotel were Hounds!

I will be making the reservations for our next Hotel Stay!

THE THINGS I HAVE LEARNED IN 6 MONTHS

I have learned that jewels are not the traditional gift for your 6 month Birthday! I know this because I didn't get one single jewel!

I have learned that although I have requested "Your Grace" I will continue to be called "Baby Gracie"

I have learned that at nap time in day care if you and your brother are not tired and chew a 8 inch round hole all the way through the wall so you can talk to each other AND pull all the ( ugly) wall paper off of the wall. The day care lady will call every phone number she has for your Mom to come pick you up! When your Mom is in an appointment and can't be reached, she will then track your Dad down to come pick you up. Then when your Mom picks up the 3 messages left by the day care, she will get VERY upset at the Day Care for not watching her tiny kids better. AND you will not be able to go back to the day care to see your friends because your Mom would be too worried that you are not being watched and could get hurt.

I have learned that the tooth fairy DOES NOT grant wishes!! I know this because I asked for a bird or a bunny to kill ! Did I get either??? NOPE!! Did you know... my sister Priscilla already has a "kill"? She has all the fun!! I wanted to be the first Warrior Princess!! But, my sister Priscilla gets to be the Warrior Princess. She should get a ribbon or a trophy or something! Go Miss P!!!!

I have learned that my best "Baby Gracie" face is VERY useful!

I have learned that my Momma loves her Baby Gracie with all her heart.

My First Puppy Match

I went to my first puppy match today!! It was great fun!!

I won the award for Nicest Head, Best Shoulders, Nicest Ears and longest tail!! I won ALL the awards!

I took a second in my class in the ring!!

Beauty AND Brains

I am going to a beauty pageant!! ("Gracie!! you better not be telling people you are going to a beauty pageant again!!It Is NOT a beauty pageant")
Umm... anyway... I'm going to a beauty pageant on Sunday. Oh the fun!! I wish I had my "Hollywoods "and "puff balls"!

I got my hair and nails done at day care. I look very pretty! Piper mis behaved at day care and wouldn't let them give him a bath! Soooo.... he got one from Mom! She still has the sore back to prove it!

My Mom is a little worried about my behavior at the beauty pageant. See when I see people I get soooo happy that first I get my "Happy Ears" on, then I turn into a little kangaroo! I get happy paws and can't keep my front ones on the ground! As it happens my Mom's lip gets in the way of my happy paws and her lip gets FAT!! This has happened often! She doesn't think the judge will appreciate a FAT lip.

I better go practice my "wave" .

Oh, I am so excited about the beauty pageant I forgot to write that I graduated from obedience class. Beauty AND Brains!

TWO LITTLE LOVE BIRDS.....

Piper is Smitten!!! You should have seen him at day care! He was ALWAYS by Ginger. My Momma should have never told him he was charming. But, really I think Ginger was falling for his charm... Oh goodness. He even licked her RIGHT on the LIPS! I told my Mom on him too!! Ginger is a nice friend. I even got my happy ears on for her!

Oh, Oh, I almost forgot!! I got a new harness and it's for riding in the car! I usually have to ride in my crate in the back of the SUV. But, not today, no siree, I got to ride "shotgun" in the regular car. I got my happy ears on for all the people at the stop lights! I told my Mom I need some cool Hollywoods (Sunglasses). She said maybe Santa will bring me some. OH I hope he does and maybe some "puff Balls" too!! Ok, Ok picture this, Me, Baby Gracie riding Shotgun with the wind in my face, beautiful puff balls (like Clovis and Ginger) and my very chic Hollywoods!!! I'm going to be a very good Baby Beez Santa!!

My First Day At Day Care

Hello,

I went to day care today for the first time. I was a very brave girl. I made a beautiful new friend. His name is Clovis. He has beautiful fur. My Mom says I have beautiful fur too it's just different. But, I still wish I could have puff balls. Mom says I would look silly with puff balls.

Anyway, my friend Clovis is very nice. I was not one bit afraid of him. He is a very gentle boy. I met lots of nice ladies who call me Baby Gracie just like my Mom! They gave me lots of treats and hugs. So, I had no choice but, to get my happy ears on for them.

I like day care. I had a fun day. Yes, I did.

PS. I don't really think my Mommy is mean.

My First Thanksgiving

What A day I had!! All my Furless family was here. I was a very well behaved baby beez! Well except for one tiny little incident. My Mom turned around and I grabbed the Turkey carcass and ran as fast as a baby beez could run... OHHHH the fun! Out the door I went with my Mom right on my heels! But, my Mom can not run as fast as a baby beez! Then.... the dreaded request... LEAVE IT!! I learned it in my puppy class. Without thinking I dropped my prize and got a puppy bone. It all happened so fast it took my Mom a second to realize she had just witnessed a MIRACLE...I'm Thankful she understood my sacrifice!

I met family I had not kissed before. I'm Thankful they love Baby Beez kisses!

I'm Thankful my Mom didn't, wouldn't give up on me when I was born. I'm glad she worked on me until I squeaked!

I am very Thankful ALL my brothers and sisters are in WONDERFUL homes! But, I'm glad I got to stay with my Mommy.

I am Thankful for dogster. Because of Dogster I have wonderful Pup Pals. Because of Dogster (and Izzie's furless ones) my brother Nebby lives with such a special Mom and Dad. Because of Dogster my sister Priscilla lives with Elvis and her very special family. Because of Dogster My Mommy Meadow came to live with my human Mommy. So without Dogster I wouldn't be here! Thank You Dogster!

I am Thankful that although I'm going to go to dog shows my Mom is just letting me be a baby beez! She says to the "others" there will be time enough for "show beez" but, for now Baby Gracie (that's me) just gets to be a play baby.

I'm Thankful that we have a very large sofa!!

My first Thanksgiving was wonderful! My Mom says Christmas is just around the corner! She says I will get lots of presents and my family will come back and let me give them Baby Beez kisses!! I heard her tell my Dad that she was just putting up one tree this year and no other decorations! She usually puts up 5 trees and the house is ALL Christmas! But, she says she would rather spend the time with her Baby Beez kids!! I love my Mom!!
