Arrival Story: I am Gracie's Mommy's Human( Ch Desert Mirage So Serandida AKA Miss Meadow) I bred Meadow to the handsome CH Paradise Jakona's Romeo Romeo JC AKA Romeo At 35 days I had an ultra sound done on Meadow we were having 8 puppies!! At day 55 I had an X Ray done on Miss Meadow, still 8 puppies!! On exactly day 63 Friday July,13th Miss Meadow went into to labor. In a little over 4 hours we had 8 beautiful, pink, healthy Beezer Babies!! All is well. I have the puppies out of the warming box and nursing. Meadow pushes and out comes a puppy!! Only this time all is not good. The baby was half the size of the other puppies. She looked like a dead rat and wasn't breathing.. I tried rubbing.. nothing...suctioning..nothing...ox ygen..nothing..swinging her..nothing...repetitions of all the above... the clock is ticking... finally a sqeek!! a breath and a cry... I knew at that moment that I was "Holding The Dream" and that baby girl would never leave here. She will always be my Baby Gracie. Bio: Gracie is a very active little girl. Being so tiny at birth hasn't slowed her down one tiny bit!! She beats up her brother (Piper) and generally rules our house, now... considering... we have 5 dogs that is quite a feat for a little girl!! She is catching up fast!!

I chose the second one. In Santa Barbara I got my second major by going Best Of Breed over Piper, Zipper and another special. I also went WB in the classes.

OH!!! What a wonderful weekend I had! Let's start with the Hotel Stay! I FINALLY got room service! My Aunt Shell came all the way to see me and stayed in my Hotel with me! I got to go up in an elevator. I got to run in a field across the street! I got to eat chips from children by the pool! Oh, It was just so glorious... A stay fit for "Your Grace"...
Next... I won my first major at the dog show! I looked very pretty!
AND now for the best part.... FINALLY.... I Got Jewels!!! Yes, that's right... I got beautiful pink pearls with a pink bone with jewels on it!! OH, wait until you see me in them! My Momma bought them for me after I won the major! She says a Baby Gracie with a Major must have Jewels!
You read correct. NO room service! My first Hotel stay and I couldn't even call for a blow dryer or chicken!
(" Gracie!! are you still complaining about our Hotel not having room service?!! Enough already!! You didn't need a blow dryer, I already gave you a bath and dried your hair before we left, AND you don't get chicken!")
Anyway, Despite the injustice of not having room service I did enjoy my stay. I saw lots of other dogs! OHHHH, the Afghans were glorious with their long flowing hair and the Ridgbacks were beautiful. I saw lots of Whippets like my Whippet sisters. The dog show was the Western Hound Classic so, all the dogs at our Hotel were Hounds!
I will be making the reservations for our next Hotel Stay!
