I like sleeping with mom, w-a-l-k-s, the p-a-r-k, other d-o-g-s (especially little ones), having f-u-n (mom spells these and thinks I don't know what she's saying), Bow Wow Meow, Gran and Uncle Rick, mom's boyfriend, dog people.

Pet-Peeves:
I loathe not being allowed to sleep with mom, statues of any kind, jaywalkers, kids, tourists, baths, sirens, not getting petted, swearing (the F word especially), Gran and Uncle Rick's dog.

Favorite Toy:
A blue plush bone that says "Kosher," giant ladybug containing several squeakers, tennis balls, squeaky George W. head.

Pizza crust, treats, Iams kibble, lettuce, cheese.

Favorite Walk:
Huntington Park, Lafayette Park.

Best Tricks:
"Pepper! Be cute!" She sits and rolls pretty well, too.

Arrival Story:
My brother and I were at a feed store in Concord (east bay). The Contra Costa County Animal Shelter was having an adoption day. Pepper was one of two dogs (everyone else was a cat). I knelt down to greet them, and Pepper made a beeline for me. She gave me a head-butt right in the chest and kind of rubbed her head in and snuggled. I was instantly and forever in love. We went right back to the Animal Shelter and adopted her.
