Favorite Walk: The bedroom (he's to little to go outside yet)
Best Tricks: Giving kisses
Arrival Story: We stopped by our vet's office at the end of September and there were 4 little chis there. The 'breeder' had not taken proper care of them and they were sick. She brought them to the vet and left them there. The next week we found out that 1 of them had passed away and the other 3 had found homes. On October 11 I got a call that the 3rd puppy (the smallest of the group) had actually not been taken home. His left eye is completely blue which may be from an infection or might be a cornea abrasion. We are currently waiting to find out.
He is 9 weeks old and due to poor nutrition only weighs 3/4 of a pound. We think he may get to be 3 or 4 pounds when full grown. He still has the sniffles but is doing wonderfully.
Update: Pygmy's little eye is healing and becoming black instead of blue!! He also is up to 1.3lbs at 12weeks. He just went to the vet on November 2nd and the vet thinks he may only be 2lbs when full grown! He is a very very tiny puppy and we are taking extra care to keep him healthy and happy.
Bio: Pygmy is now full-grown at just about 2lbs! He is doing wonderful and his eye was on the mend but seems to be reverting back to blue so we are taking him to a specialist in February.
