Favorite Food:
Loves just about anything

Favorite Walk:
Waterworks hill on Saturday morning

Best Tricks:
Sit and stay

Arrival Story:
I found Roka on the Idaho Akita rescue website. He was found playing with children at a school playground in Idaho. He was a handful, still very young. He was only 75 pounds when he was rescued. I gave him the day I adopted him as his birthday because I really don't know anything about him.

Roka loves people but has issues with unfamiliar dogs, thus, he has to be on leash even in off-leash areas. He and his adopted sister glacier love to play and are very close.

Last night my mom sat me down on the floor and put a treat under one of two cups on the floor. I don't know which one but they both smelled like food. She kept pointing her paw at one of the cups. I didn't know what she wanted me to do so I laid down. She pointed and said ok. so I went to the other cup and sniffed it. I think she wants me to find the treat but I am very confused. Mom needs to be a little more clear about what she wants me to do.

On Tuesday, mom hung up 2 fuzzy red things shaped like big paws on the mantle. They were just too irresistable and I jumped up, pulled them down, took them out into the yard and ripped them to shreds. I don't think she was very happy about it. She found one but I hid the other one and won't let her find it. I just can't help myself. Fuzzy things make me crazy and I just have to have them.

Mom went somewhere this morning .like she does alot. I am not sure where she goes and why she doesn't take me but I have a big yard to run around in with my sister Glacier so the time goes by fast until she comes home. Glacier is older than me and sometimes grabs me by my back leg when we play. I don't like that very much.
