Arrival Story:
Xana was found on an Indian reservation in Western WA. She was approx. 8 months old and pregnant. She was picked up by Animal Control and beings she was pregnant her adoption potential was slim. She was then transported to another Animal Control facility when a rescue group stepped up to take her. She gave birth one week later to 4 healthy puppies and when the time was right she was ready to go up for adoption. I saw her photo on a rescue website and I kept going back to it.. knowing I have 2 dogs already .. I thought what the heck! She would win the dog lottery if she was with us. The rest is history. She now lives the life of a rock star.. should I say football star! Xana's personality has evolved from "anxious and scared to happy and settled. She loves having "greeting" parties for everything and everyone" life is fun for her now. If I had to describe her .. I would say she's a "fury disco ball" waiting to party. She is an avid fan of the Seattle Seahawks and loves to tailgate on the couch with her brother Nico and her sister Olive and of course her humans. We love her so much .. and the Mohawk is real.

Possibly half bunny rabbit she kicks like Thumper, and has soft ears like a rabbit.
