Arrival Story:
WE bought Gus from a neighbor at 6 weeks old. He has since had back surgery to repair a ruptured disc. He had chronic ear infections necessitating surgical removal of both ear canals. He suffers from skin allergies. And at age 11 he got a good case of pancreatitis from eating a plate of brownies he managed to steal. But Gus is a sweetheart.

Bio:
WE bought Gus from a neighbor when he was 6 weeks old. He has since had back surgery to repair a ruptured disc. He had chronic ear infections forcing us to have his ear canals surgically removed, leaving him deaf. He also suffers from skin allergies. But Gussy rolls with the punches and nothing bothers him. Recently Gus has suffered from kidney disease and worsening arthritis. He isn't able to tolerate the medications for pain or inflammation. His hind legs keep giving out on him and he looks to me to help him. The only thing I can do is hold him and tell him I love hime....and that his recent accidents are just that....accidents. 2weeks ago, Gus left us, to meet his brothers and sister over the Rainbow Bridge. At age 16, My best friend, my little man, my Gus is gone, but forever in my heart.
