Arrival Story:
My husband and I adopted her from Lost Dog Rescue at a Petco Adoption Day in Burke, VA. At 6 months, she was sleepy and layed there in the pen pretty indifferent to everyone. My husband was hooked but I wasn't convinced. We ended up spending 3 hours bonding with her. My mom brought her dog Petey for an introdution and they got along. We took her home that day and she's been our little girl ever since.

Bio:
Zoe was an owner give-up from rural VA. We think she may have been the last in a litter of puppies to get a home because she was almost potty trained, not skittish and very laid back. She came wearing a Greatful Dead collar and the rescue folks said they never heard her bark. Perhaps she was a Dead Head in another life? To this day, she only barks when she's playing with other dogs.
