Arrival Story:
I was in third grade and one day my mother picked me up from school, which was unusual as my grandmother usually did. She said she had a surprise for me. I guess two outrageous possibilities and finally, "A puppy?" and she gave me That Look, which said, "Yeah, right."
I got home, opened the back door, and a fluffy little face looked out from a Pet Taxi.
Bio:
Muffy was a great addition to our family. She was my best friend for thirteen years. Losing her was one of the most traumatic moments of my life. Fortunately, we were prepared for her passing (in fact, she died the night before we were taking her in with the very real possibility of putting her down). She died in my mother's arms peacefully with me and my grandmother there. I miss her every day.
