Arrival Story:
After my humans lost their loving Muffy (fourteen years), they couldn't deal with the pain of not having a little pitter patter around the house. Within a week, they were looking.
The Mom happened across an ad from a couple about an hour away. They were registered breeders who had four dogs and a cat. Their two Shih Tzus, my parents, had just had their second litter and they were planning on moving to East Texas, so they couldn't keep me and my sisters and brother.
My humans went out, fell in love with all four of us, but (not to sound egotistical!) I stuck out. Not only was I the splash of colour in an all black litter, but I kept coming back to them while they played with the others. We fell in love immediately.
I was home with them three days later. They had to do some, *ahem*, creative money gathering, but they knew we were supposed to be together.
I came home and within two days had the joint wrapped around my paw. I like them. I think I'll stay.
