I am finally getting a chance to write about my vacation. We had a great time and Aunt Bev was so surprised and happy. My brother Scott ended up coming with us too, so I was in my glory. The trip was great. Weather was mostly rainy and really windy but we still had a lot of fun. We went on the beach a few times in between rain showers...I wasn't allowed to go to the indoor pools and lazy rivers with Mommy, but I was in this really big room with a big bed and glass doors so I was able to look out on the ocean. Aunt Bev has a new puppy, Buddy, he is a really tiny guy but kept attacking me, Mommy said he just wanted to play with me. I didn't want to hurt him so I just jumped up on my Mommy. We were all very sad when it was time to leave Myrtle Beach, but I'm sure we will be going back again, Mommy loves it there.

I am so excited!!!! Mommy told me that we are going to Myrtle Beach, SC at the end of the month to see Aunt Bev and Uncle Jim, we are going to surprise Aunt Bev for her woofday. I can't wait, we love it there and Mommy gets so happy when she is with Aunt Bev. Of course, Mom gets really sad when we have to leave, I always have to think of ways to cheer her, I start by licking her tears away, she laughs...BOL!!! We will be going with my sister Dawn (and Jeanna) in their big car, my brother Joe and Aunt Bev's son (Mommy's nephew) Marty. GOOD THING DAWN HAS A BIG CAR!!! It is a long trip but when we are traveling together, we have a lot of fun, we all goof off like we are little kids. I sure hope Aunt Bev doesn't read this, I will be spoiling the surprise..Mommy said Aunt Bev doesn't go on the computer all that often and she doesn't think she has figured out how to get to my page...she tried one time..BOL!! I wish Daddy could come too, but he has to work, Mommy calls him a "work-a-holic"... Dawn's hubby, Pete, is a doctor so he can't get out of work either, Joe's wife, Melissa, has to stay home with thier 5 kiddies, 4 of them have school!! My brother Scott can't come because him and Amy are getting married in June and they have to take care of things with that and since they are going to need time off from work for that and the honeymoon...they really can't take time off of work right now. Well, I guess that's all I have to say right now...Sniff, woof woof...

To my "Darling" Cocoa,
For sometime before you came into my life, I was going through some depressing times. My sister (Aunt Bev) moved out of state, we spent a lot of time together before she moved, I felt so alone. I still had your brothers and sister, my grandchildren and my friends, but I felt this emptiness that I just couldn't fill. In 2005, your sister, Dawn, was a little worried, so knowing that I always wanted a yorkshire terrier puppy, she searched high and low, trying to give me a great Christmas gift that year...but she just was not having much luck. She found a breeder, a few hours away, in PA, that only had one puppy left that was available....On January 4, 2005, Dawn and her friend drove to the breeders house to check you out. Well, you ran right to Dawn, jumping on her and playing. Dawn said it was love at first sight. Dawn did not hesitate, she said that you were definately meant to be with me. Still to this day, I know she was right!!!
Now, Dawn woke me up in the middle of the night, asking me if she could stop by to use my printer. I told her sure, but for her to let herself in, that I had to get up early in the morning. I was asleep when she got to the house, I got a little upset because she woke me up again, claiming that she was having problems with my printer. Needless to say, I got up, went downstairs, she was standing by this animal carrier, well you started to move, it was a little dark at this time, I asked what the heck is in there, she told me to open the carrier. When I saw you, I think I was in shock. I picked you up, I was shaking, my eyes were tearing...that was one of the happiest days of my life.
Cocoa, I don't know what I would do without you, you always bring me joy and laughter. Daddy and I love you so much, and you let us know that you feel the same about us. I would not change a thing about you.
Love forever and always, Mommy.
