Taking care of the snoopdom, protecting all snoops big and small, serving all snoops with a gentle paw, Pawties and food.
Losing a friend to the Rainbow Bridge
The food on the RXN, Shakes and Baileys Pub, and O.E. Hoovers Restaurant
All over the world with their brothers and sisters Snoops
The Queen's Story:
I joined Dogster in March 06. Scooter and I joined Snoops during the summer, but we didn't realize how big and wonderful it was! In the Fall of 06, we did some snooping into the groups we had joined and boy, am I glad we did!
Right away, we found snoops to be so welcoming and so friendly. We felt a part of the group right away.
I have been with Snoops for about a year now and I don't know what we would do without this group. Snoops is truly a family. So many who care, so many who would be there for us if we asked for it. This group is a huge part of our lives and there isn't anything we wouldn't do for any one of them.
I decided this past summer that I was going to run for Queen of Snoops. I knew it was a big responsibility. I only wanted to run if I knew I could make my Snoop family proud and follow in the paw steps of our previous queens. I believe in including all snoops....Snoops is such a big group that I want to make sure that we all feel that sense of "welcome and family". Just like Scooter and I did when we joined Snoops.
I thank God for Snoops and all the wonderful pups and their families. I am truly blessed to have them as my second family.
The Kings Story:
My human brother told mom about dogster in Feb. of 2006. A site where he had his dogs. She thought it sounded like a good place to visit here and there. Never in her dreams did she think it would become my second home.Just a few months later I joined a beagle group called Snoop Dog Beagleys. It was different than my other groups. More active and more family like. They made me feel very welcome and loved.I really love this group and the all the pups and their families. Not because of the fun but for everything Snoops does for each other and for dogs that don't have what we do like family and a furever home. Snoops has their very own Fund to help members and shelters. It was always an honor to serve under our kings and queens. In Sept. I ran for king and was voted in. It is with great honor to serve as king of Beagledom for three months. I made promises that I am standing by not just because I made them but because they all mean so much to me. I am honored to have the beautiful Queen Trudy at my side. Together we will do the best we can to make Snoops the place to be. We both love dogster and Snoops. I want to thank dogster for being here for all of us. Most of all I want to thank the Essig family for making the the Snoop Dog Beagley Group the best Beagle Group on dogster.

Last night on Ole Howlo Eve we had a member of the Snoop Dog Beagleys die. He was attacked and killed in his own yard by another dog. Buddy was 6 years old and full of life. All of the kingdom is in morning. Buddy loved his red hat and couldn't wait for red hat day. That is why if you see a member of Snoops wearing a red hat it is our way of honoring him.
It is always sad to lose a member but it really much harder when they leave us this way.
Our love goes out to his beagley brother Jimmy and his ipod sister that has been caring for him since his pawents died.
Buddy was a neighborhood stray, whose human parents abandoned him. My parents adopted him, and after my parents' deaths, Buddy, Jimmy and Dingo began living with me.
Buddy is the master of taking-apart anything that should NOT be taken apart. What a powerful chewer! He is keenly observant of all things taking place around him - he misses nothing!
If you are reading this please stop by his page and send love to his family.
You have a special place Dear Lord
that I know You'll always keep
A special place reserved for dogs
when they quietly fall asleep
With large and airy kennels
and a yard for hiding bones
With maybe a little babbling creek
that chatters over stones.
With wide green fields and flowers
for those who never knew
about running freely under
Your sky of perfect blue.
Lord,I know You keep this Special Place
And so to you I Pray,
For one Special Rottweiler mix
Who quietly died today
He was full of strength & love
and so very, very wise.
The puppy look he once had
Had long since left his eyes.
He is dearly missed my Lord
By very good friends of mine.
He went to join his ancestors
To Your land that is Devine
So, speak to Buddy softly please
And give him a warm hello.
He's a Special gift to you Dear Lord
From all of us Snoops, who loved him so

God looked around His garden
And He found an empty place
He then looked down upon the earth
And saw your precious face
He put His arms around you
And lifted you to rest;
God' s Garden must be beautiful
He always takes the best.
He knew that you were suffering
He knew you were in pain
He knew you' d never ever
Get well on earth again.
So He closed your weary eyelids
And whispered " Peace be thine "
Then He took you up to Heaven
With Hands so gentle and kind.
It broke our hearts to lose you
But you did not go alone,
For part of us went with you
The day God welcomed you home.
Now you are a treasure that god
could only give us.
A very special Snoop Angel to watch
over us every night and day. We love you!

There is a bridge connecting Heaven and Earth. It is called Rainbow Bridge because of its many splendid colors. Just this side of Rainbow Bridge there is a land of meadows, hills and valleys with lush, green grass.
When beloved pets die, they go to this place. There is always food and water and warm spring weather. The old and frail animals are young again. Those who are maimed are made whole again. They play all day with each other.
There is only one thing missing. They are not with their special person who loved them on earth. So each day they run and play. Until the day comes when one suddenly stops playing and looks up!
The nose twitches. The ears are up! The eyes are staring.
And this one suddenly runs from the group. You have been seen!
And when you and your special friend meet, you take him or her in your arms and embrace. Your face is kissed again and again and again, and you look once more into the eyes of your trusting pet. Then you cross the Rainbow Bridge together…
… Never again to be separated.
