What will 2009 bring?

It's been a while since I posted in my diary. This year has been quite a year for little old me. In October, I was just about to celebrate my second year in my forever home, when I decided to get sick. Mommy and Daddy said I had a bladder stone blockage. I couldn't pee! I am a really good pee-er and this was just not right. I tried and I tried and nothing would come out. Mom and Dad rushed me to the emergency hospital and I had to stay there for 4 days. I had surgery and my little body sure did hurt. I was real happy to get home. Then after all the test results, it turn out I have a problem with my liver. They think I have a shunt in my liver. They said this means some blood does not pass through my liver to purify it. Mom and Dad were real worried. The Dr said that they could not operate and I should eat a special food called L/D. I like it, but so does Minnie. She tries to eat
it when I am not looking. BOL. She can have it though, I would rather have Pupperoni (which is off limits).
Mom says 2009 will be a much better year for me. I will stay healthy and I am having my 7th birthday on January 27. Stay tuned for some birthday pictures.

Our yard is a Jungle!

We have a fenced yard, and Minnie and me love to go out and sniff everything. I especially like to sniff minnies butt. Ha ha. I'm a pug, ya know.
Well my sister Minnie chases rabbits in the yard, so mom has to go out before us and chase the rabbits away. Now, yesterday, Dad told mom he saw a snake in the yard. He tried to get it out but it went under our deck. Mom is freakin out. She says that now she has to worry about us finding a snake and she gets really creeped out walking in the yard to chase the rabbits. She told daddy, what if that snake goes up my pant leg. Yikes! Mom has some imagination.
Any way, I told mom that I will take care of that snake if I see it. I could always pee on it. Yeah! That's it, what snake likes Pug Pee!

Belly What!!!!!

I tell ya, it's crazy around here! Ever since my sister Minnie started complaining about loosing things, the folks got this bright idea to wrap me in something they call a Belly Band. It goes around my belly, but I don't think thats what it's there for. It covers my little weenie. Why don't they call it a weenie band???? I don't mind it too much, it's not so uncomfortable, but when I do my manly marking, I feel very wet. Is that how this thing is supposed to work? I think I heard them saying that I won't like getting wet and I will stop marking. I sure hope they are right, cause I like the feel of the cool breezes.

Wednesday's stink!

I don't like Wednesday's. I heard that lots of people like Wednesday. They say it's Hump Day (something I am not allowed to do), and its the middle of the week and the work week is half over. But, I tell ya, I think Wednesday's stink. It stinks cause mommy comes home from work, feeds us, eats real fast and then she leaves us. I hate it! She says she is going bowling. What's that??
She doesn't take my bowl with her. I don't understand. I show her how happy I am that she is home and does she appreciate it....NO! She goes anyway. Every Wednesday! You would think she would want to stay home with us. I think I may have to sneak in the car with her and see what all this is about. Maybe tonight.......

The Christmas Tree is up

This weekend the Christmas Tree went up, and Minnie and I helped out. Mommy and Daddy had lots of ornaments to put up and I helped get the ornaments nice and wet with my tongue. Minnie didn't help as much as me, but I am newer at this and she has done it lots of times. Mommy kept saying "Ming, you better be a good boy and don't do pee pee on the tree" Daddy said to mommy, don't even say that word and make him think about doing it. Daddy doesn't know that I don't have to "think" about it, I just do it! I have been a good boy so far, and so now they decided to put the tree skirt on. Last year I did peepee on it and they weren't too happy. They said they will give me a chance and hope for the best. I will try to be good, but things happen that are totally out of my control. They said they won't take a chance on putting gifts under the tree. They cost too much to be ruined by a little pug boy. I seem to remember last year, Santa came on Christmas morning and put lots of cool stuff under this tree for me and Minnie. I think I wll be a good boy! Merry Christmas.

Well I hear it's almost December, and that is the month that Santa comes and brings lots of cool presents and treats. I can't wait. Mommy has been real busy lately. She tries to make time for Minnie and me, but by the time she gets home from work and makes us all dinner, and cleans up, I am getting tired already. I love to play and cuddle my mommy, but lately she has Minnie and me working on Dogster alot. Not only that, she has Christmas shopping and wrapping presents to do. Before we know it, it's time for bed. She does give us our doggie cookies every night and watches TV with Minnie on one side of her and of cours, me, with my head on her lap. She tells me she loves it when I cuddle with her. Mommy, I love it too! Well, I will be counting the days till Christmas comes. Merry Christmas, everyone.

Pug Pals of the Week

This week, me and Minnie are "Pug Pals of the Week" This is a great honor for us, especially since we have not been members of Pug Pals for too long. We have a lot of fun in this group and everyone is so friendly and eager to please. Along with the joy of this honor, we are also very sad this week. A beautiful girl named Lena is very sick and will be going to Rainbow Bridge. Everyone has been sending her wishes and trying to give her Mommy strength through this. All the babies at the bridge will welcome her with open arms. Our sisters Honey and Muffin will be there to give her big hugs and kisses too. We love you Lena, we didn't know you long but love is not measured by time.

I Won!

Well, this morning Mommy told me I won the Pug Pals "Snow White & the 7 dwarfs contest". I had so much fun playing the game. It was kinda hard for me, specially since I don't know what a Dwarf is, but Mommy helped me. We had to read all about some of our Pug Pal members and guess who were the dwarfs, from the clues that were given. I got a lot right and I learned so much about my pals. I am going to get an Official Pug Pals bandana, in red, for winning the contest. It is from Mia Pia's closet. I am sure I will look very handsome in it. Mommy said she will take a picture of me in it and put it on my page for everyone to see. We want to thank the members of Pug Pals for this great contest, especially Gizmo, Kitty, Furby and their mom for thinking up all the clues.
