It was a great Christmas.

This year I got lots of squeaky toys for Christmas. I really love them.
Santa must know this because I forgot to write him a letter this year.
Mom was off from work for 4 days, 2 weeks in a row. I got to spend a lot of time with her, even in spite of Ming. We went for walks, and played with my toys.
I love opening presents, even the word present gets me all excited.
I have lots of great friends on dogster and I hope to make lots more in 2009.

Lots been happening

There is so much that has happened lately.
My best friend Cocoa is back from her trip to Myrtle Beach. She had lots of fun and I am glad she is back, so now maybe we can get together and go for a walk.
I joined a club on FLOP called the Monkey girls club. Boy are we having fun, especially when we tease the Grilla boys. They even made me Featured Pug of the week on FLOP. I am not a pug, so it was a very special honor.
I also almost caught a rabbit the other night. Mom just flipped out on me. She was screaming, "Minnie, no" as loud as she could, but did I listen...NO!
I ran around and around and the rabbit was running and screaming. Yeah, could you believe it. I never knew rabbits could scream, but I got it to.
I am a good hunter. I don't know why mom gets so upset with me. This is what a Dachshund Mix does. Chases thing! Well, if you are wondering, the rabbit got away, and mom and dad made me go inside and they were wagging their fingers at me. What the heck is that supposed to mean? Doesn't scare me!

Our Cousin Lucy's Birthday

Today, Mom and Dad told me and Ming that we were going to Lucy's birthday party. Lucy is our cousin, and she is turning 1 yr old tomorrow. She is a Jack Russell Terrier. I was happy to go, cause I love to ride in the car and go to new places. Ming cried the whole way over cause he was in the back seat with me and he wanted to be in the front seat with Mom & Dad. What else is new!
We got there and Lucy was running around and jumping up and down and trying to jump on me too! Now, I don't really like anyone jumping on me! We had Pizza and Frosty Paws. Just like our friend Louie brings to all his parties. He throws some good ones here on Dogster. But, anyway, I enjoyed that part, but Lucy would not leave me alone. I had to hide behind Mommy or sit on Daddy's lap. Lucy started barking at Ming and Ming chased her. My heart was pumping. It was just to much for me! But, we are home now and I can sit in peace and look out my big window! Happy Birthday, Lucy.

I seem to be loosing things!

You might think I am loosing toys, or treats or something like that, but, no....I am loosing lots of my creature comforts. Let me explain. You see, I got a brother about a year and a half ago. His name is Ming and he is a pug. You may have seen him around here. He always wants to follow me or Mommy. In fact there is even a picture of him on my page.
Anyway, to get back to the point. First of all, I had to loose my quilt in the corner of the bedroom. I used to love to get under it at night. The folks called it my tent. Then Ming came and peed on it and.....it's gone! Then I had a basket full of squeaky toys, which I love, and now thats gone cause Ming peed on it. ( Are you seeing a pattern here?)
Now for the icing on the cake. The folks got new furniture in the living room. This is my favorite room, because there is a big window in it where I look out and bark at all the dogs passing by, and any rabbits I might see. Now, when Mommy and Daddy can't keep an eye on Ming, this room is gated off from us.
You know why???? So Ming won't Pee on the furniture.
Help! Who knows what I may be loosing next!

I have a boyfriend!

Well, yesterday we had a fantastic party at Pug Pals. It was the 1st birthday of the group. We had Pineapple cheesecake, cheese and crackers, confetti, balloons, punch, water and bestest of all PIZZA. I love pizza. It came all the way from Canada from our pals Louie and Jake. I had lots of fun with all my pals. My BFF Cocoa also came to the party. It was so fun to see her there. Ming kept trying to get her under the mistletoe. The most exciting part of the party was that I found my true love. His name is Gizmo and he is an angel. He is so nice to me, he even gave me mistletoe so that we can smooch whenever we want. I love you Gizmo, and all my pals on Dogster. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.

Our best friend, Cocoa and her mom made the most beautiful picture for Christmas. Mommy put it on our pages, cause it is so special and so is Cocoa. It has pictures of Cocoa, Ming and me on it and ornaments with our names and in big letters, BFF's. That's what we are, and I couldn't be happier. I love Cocoa, she is a good friend to us. I hope Cocoa and her family (which is very big) have a wonderful Christmas and Happy New Year.

Eleven Years Young!

Saturday was my 11th Birthday, and boy did I have a great time. Mommy and Daddy got up early and gave me my present and my special chew treat. I love squeaky toys and this one was great. It was a giraffe, and I was squeaking it all morning. Naturally, Ming got a toy and treat too! (I get presents on his birthday too.) Mommy took us for a walk, which is one of my favorite things to do. We were pooped out after the walk, and lucky thing because Mommy and Daddy decided to do Christmas shopping. Could you believe that, ON MY BIRTHDAY! Anyway, it wasn't so bad, cause Ming and I slept the whole time they were gone. Ming keeps putting his head on me to sleep. I am not sure if I like it or not, but he is a good little brother. Well after our big nap, they came home and we had a birthday cake with candles on it for my age. 11. I love cake, even though Mommy says I shouldn't have it, but she gave me a little piece. Ming didn't really like it, so I ate his,hee hee. We got to go on the computer and I had tons and tons of Birthday greetings and gifts from my pals on Dogster.
I am not so sad my birthday is over, cause I heard Christmas is coming soon, and that means lots more squeaky toys.
