Our first trip to the Dog Park in Louisiana

Yesterday Mom piled all 6 of us in the car and started driving.
Some of us were hoping we were going back to Illinois...Some of us were hoping we were going to find a Barkery and some of us (Nugget)just cried.
We didn't drive to far before Momma stopped and we all piled out at a park.
This could be good!
We miss our walks back home, all our favorite spots and favorite neighbors. Here there are no sidewalks or anywhere to walk safely near our home so we've been suffering FOR REAL!
Tico got in his carrier and we we're off.
Sure enough before we made it more than a few steps Baby had to stop and do his bizneszz. Geez Louise!
It tool Charlie & Nugget a while to catch on to the program. That Charlie is wound a bit tight and this was Nuggets 1st walk EVER!
Pretty soon we had a nice rhythm going and everyone was enjoying the sights and smells.
We saw horses,cats,police men,egrets, and 2 poor Boxers living in an outdoor kennel :(
About 1/2 way through the walk Baby starts panting real heavy cuz it's hot out and Momma made us stop for a drink in the shade.
We continued on to the "Dog Park" area and Mom let us sniff for a bit but not too long. Jewel was not allowed in so she said we couldn't stay :(
No other fluffs were there but we left them all a message.
After that the Mom's hurried us back to the car cuz Baby was getting too hot. Darn that mule~BOL~
All in all it went better than we expected fur our 1st walk together in Louisiana.
But we sure wish there was somewhere's we could walk near our house!

Christmas 2011

We have never forgotten our amazing Dogster family & furiends without whom we would be lost for sure. We may not be on Dogster as much as we once were but your kindness and love are never forgotten. Some of you we stay in touch with on Facebook and some of you are in our hearts & memories.
On this Christmas Eve 2011 we want you all to know that we miss you,cherish you and most of all love you all!

No noisy alarm clocks.....Leisurely body rubs in bed....Sloppy stinky doggie kisses fur da Moms...No rushing to do our duty....Free reign of the casa....
Lap time.....Computer time.....
I think we should all ban together and protest the 5 day work week!
Doggie's unite....we need our pawrents home with us where they belong!
Let's march straight to the White House and bark it loud and proud!

We saw Santa Paws! Woo-Hoo

Of course we knew something was up.
As soon as Mom gets Parkers "beauty box" we started running in circles and acting like wild doggies :)
By the time Parker was beautified and we had our harnesses on Baby was so worked up he POOPED right in the bedroom!!!!!
We told him we were gonna tell Santa Paws on him unless he paid us off with ALL of his treaties from now on!
We think that's fair!
So after a long car ride we get to the Oak Park Animal Care League's Holiday Bazaar and right away Baby starts pulling Mom and whinning.
Mom took us in the vestibule to see how he would behave and when he got a look at all the other doggies and people he went bezerk I tell ya!
He's been a handful lately, really acting out in public, jumping on other dogs and "mouthing" other people.
Mom looked around at all the glass ornaments and trotted him right back to the car!
We hurried to the bake sale, picked up some yummy homemade doggie treats and then sat down with Santa Paws.
He remembered us from the last 2 years and said what big boys we were!
Hu-Sissy went ahead and told on Baby so there goes our lifetime supply of treats :(
Mom went and got big hu-bro and he "helped" get Baby into see Santa at PetCo.
Santa Paws had a long talk with Baby about his behavior and the consequences of his actions.
Baby thought he said "chilli concarne" and went cuckoo!
After hu-bro took him outside Parker shared a poop with the entire store and Mom said "TIME TO GO"
(after she cleaned up of course)
Maybe we all have a little howliday madness or maybe Baby needs a Ceasar intervention ~BOL~
Mom loves us anyways and thats all that matters!

We've lost an Amigo

Our beloved fursis Daisy Mae went to the bridge last week.
We've all been confused, the house is SO quiet.
Mom and little hu-sissy have been sad beyond words.
We will miss you furever sweet Daisy!

I bit Mon AGAIN

Moms upset and I'm upset.
Yesterday I had a doll toy in my mouth and Mom told me to DROP IT!
When I refused to drop it and tried to run out of the room, Mom bent over to stop me and I turned around and bit her hand real good!
Mom then took the toy out of my mouth, shut my mouth and said NO!
Mom was bleeding and I was nervous.
I ran outside and didn't want to come back in.
For the rest of the night I felt funny and just wasn't myself.
Mom has a puncture wound on her knuckles and her hand is swollen.
Looks like it's back to the vet for me for a check up.
Hope she has something positive to say cuz me and Mom are both pretty upset:(

As we were saying, Mom is working longer hours and we haven’t been on Dogster as much as we’d like to be but we are still up to our devious Amigos ways!
For Mothers Day we gifted Mom with some tinkle in the kitchen and a nice stinky on the freshly shampooed living room carpet.
Last week Daddy left the gate open and Tico & Daisy went next door to visit our lab neighbor named Moon.
You should have seen Mom running over there in her jammies!!!
Yesterday we all tore into the garbage and last night we were up all night going potty.
Yep, loads of fun here in Amigo Land!!
We are all enjoying the warm Spring weather. Most afternoons when Mom gets home she leaves the back door open and we run back and forth like crazy pups until someone starts crying. ANGEL!!!!
We had a rough couple of weeks with Angel but everything seems OK now except for that big brute of a furcousin Bubba living downstairs.
Mom won’t let us play with him anymore. There’s been too many fights and she says one of us is going to get hurt.
PeeShaw we say! We aint afeared of no 130 pound drooling machine!!
Mom will be off for the summer soon and we just can’t wait.
1st on the agenda according to Mom is getting Angel fixed.
We all are hoping that means an attitude adjustment but we’ll have to wait and see.

Mamma left us

The Amigos are all bent out of shape!
Here we were looking forward to a nice relaxing Spring break and suddenly the Moms disappeared.
She left on Saturday and we waited and waited and waited for her to come home and she never did.
We have NEVER slept without Mommy, who would we cuddle with? Who would we snore on?
Who would rub our heads and give us good night kisses??
How could she just leave us like that??
By Sunday morning when our bowls were STILL empty we knew something was wrong!
Adult hu-sissy and little hu-sissy were here but where oh where was our Mamma??
We went outside and canvassed the yard for her, sniffed in the breeze and barked like crazy and she still didn’t come home.
Defeated we went inside and laid down to stare at our empty kibble bowls.
*Cue heartbreaking violin music please*
Baby was beside himself, he aint called a Mammas boy for nuttin!
He kept pacing and checking the windows, while Daisy kept vigilant watch at the living room window.
Tico just hid, Angel was confused and Parker slumped into a depression that he still hasn’t snapped out of.
Finally Sunday night Dad told us Mom was in something called a hospital and she would be home soon.
None of us knew what a hospital is so we called a super secret Amigo meeting and gathered at HQ promptly.
Parker took the podium and explained that a hospital is where you go when you are sick and they stick you with needles and all sorts of stuff, sometimes you go to sleep and wake up sore, and sometimes you wake up in a cage by other dogs and CATS..EEEKKK
He also said it is VERY loud there and the food is just ECH!
At this point Tico took the podium and said his hospital experience was much nicer, There were needles involved but also a very warm bassinet and the nurses were cute.
Armed with that information we all crossed our paws and hoped Mom didn’t come home with one of those cage thingys or even worse…A Cat!!
We were finally fed but it wasn’t the same, we ate of course, but we weren’t happy about it!
Finally Monday afternoon Mommy came home and we had ourselves a big old slobbery kiss festival!
We all got lots of love and lap time, clean bowls, fresh kibble and best of all, our bed time kisses.
So our advice to all of you is not to ever let your Mom out of your site.
And Mapquest directions to the hospital so’s you can go rescue her!!

The long cold walk

Mom is off work today and decided to take us for our first long 5 man....er pup walk. BEFORE BREAKFAST!
Now I don't know about you pups but we need our sustenance!
How can we go on these arctic hikes on an empty belly AND a new kid to train??
Seems like cruel and unusual punishment to us and we may be picketing later!!
I mean yeah, the walk was nice. We haven't been out in a while and Mom let us stop and leaving our calling cards in all the puportant spots but still!!
It's like 25 degree's outside. Not exactly balmy dudes!!
Of course there was neither man nor beast outside so ya think Mom would have taken a hint. NOT!
The new chick did Ok even is Ma had to carry her the last 1/2 of the way.
We're thinking of putting a call into Hong Kong Phooey for some super secret,superhero advice.
After all he is THE number one super guy & quicker than the human eye.
We're off to demand our breakfast....Then we may picket :}

Mamma has been under the weather :(

It seems like ever since Mamma started that silly J.O.B. thing she has been sick.
The Sunday before Christmas Daddy took her to the ER cuz she couldn't breathe, after lots of tests AND being gone ALL afternoon they discovered she has sumpin called Pleurisy.
We snuggled with her when she came home and tried to help her get better but with the holidays coming Mom said she had too much to do to lay in bed!

So it seems she is not getting any better and we don't know what to do.
Any pup have any suggestions or ideas???
