Lays on the floor and "swims" and howls for no apparent reason; when he sits he grabs you with his paws and holds on!

Arrival Story:
We got Kelly when my husband was off of work for a while and he read somewhere that the best exercise for a Husky was another Husky! So we called our breeder and she had two males we could come and look at. She picked out Kelly for us as he was a little bit bigger and sturdier then the other pup; and he has a very easy going personality. He was quite a bit bigger then Gracie when we got her, and the little puppy collar we brought along did not fit him! On the way home we had to stop at the pet store to get him a collar, and he howled the entire time bascially empting the store! Kelly is very loving and very easy going for such a big boy. He loves to meet people! The only problem is he and Gracie together are sooo loud with the howlingwhen we go anywhere that we get a lot of looks - like what are you doing to those dogs?!

Bio:
Kelly is from Kristari Kennels in Loudan, TN; His daddy is a champion - CH Kristari's Joker's Wild. We got him because his tail flops over to the left - not straight over his back - big flaw in the ring, not so much in our house!

At The Bridge.....

I believe the only reason I can write this entry is due to the support of our Dogster Family. Our Kelly passed away in is sleep yesterday aroun 3:00 PM. Right now the only explantions are he had some sort of heart attack or aneurysm. We did ask for a through exam because he was only 5 years old, and the only thing we've been told so far is that he had a very "small" heart for his size and there was some inflammation in the muscles, tendons and ligaments around it. It will be about 2 weeks before we get any more information and I will post it as soon as we do.

Unfortunately, Kelly's beloved Tabitha - our last cat - has past away at the age of 18. Kelly continues to look for her, but I think he and Gracie knew something was not right that last day. Before, Kelly would sniff, drool, grab and rub his mouth and face all over Tabitha, but the afternoon before she past away he would only give a quick sniff and run away.
