We interviewed, introduced her to Auggie, and brought her home. Bio: We don't know a whole lot about her background, but her previous "guardian" tried to have her put down for no apparent reason and the vet made him call the Berner rescue folks. Even so he still dropped her off at a shelter where she was discovered almost by accident by the rescue people. At that time she had gone into shelter shock, and wouldn't come out of a ball or take food or water for about three days. She's still getting used to the world and its various scary aspects, but she's coming along. She's very, very sweet, and we love having her in our family.
