She likes to go outside and run and play.

Sissy doesn't mind being left alone now. She doesnt like to visit the groomer or the vets office. We have been taking her on short rides to get her over the fear of riding.

She really likes toys, Right now her favorite toy is her skineeez (ground squirrel) and she also loves drumettes and canine carryouts beef and cheese treats.

Honey likes to walk out and visit her neighbor dogs (taz, prince and sassy) and visit gizzie and shadow when they are over.

Arrival Story:
A lady that I know has lung cancer, she breeds and sells dogs to local pet shops, I had ask her sister-in-law if she might have a shih-tzu that needed a home, she is trying to sell off a lot of her dogs and leaving the youngest breeding stock to her daughter so her sister -in-law mentioned it to her and she said she had a shih-tzu around a year old that she would give me if i came and got her because she knew she would have a good home so i went and picked honey up saturday. I had been wanting a brown and white shih-tzu since little che che passed away so i feel my prayers were answered with her. She won't take che ches place in our hearts che'che will always be our little girl and is very special to us but scooter & honey will have their special place also.
Bio:
Honey was in a kennel with a little black poodle who they also are trying to find a home for, She is kinda withdrawn from being in the outside kennel and not having any interaction with anybody because of the sickness of her owner except for feeding,but she is coming out of it. She is a real sweetie. She is starting to like ziggies that you put in kong rubber toys for dogs. She wasn't used to having toys and didn't know what they were. She is real happy outside, she runs and plays and doesn't like to come in.
She is still shy, but in her own time she will come around. We can already see a big difference in her. Isn't it amazing what a little attention and affection and love can do.
She had a little brother scooter which is a papillon but he found a new home in Piney Flatts, Tn. He loves it there and has a fenced in yard in which he can run and play and not have to stay confined to one rom now, we miss love him lots but it is for the best, he has a great new mommy and daddy and two papillon brothers (Vinnie and marco) and a shih-tzu brother beamer and coco and baby(Dachshund) so i am a only child now am being spoiled rotten but i sure miss our walks together with my bubby.

Honey is going on 2 years old now, She is our little girl and such a sweetie pie. We love her dearly. She has the cutest little mannerisms. We have her spoiled rotten. She loves her toys and still loves her ziggies and her dingo bones and her milkbone treats.
Her little brother scooter has found a new home in Piney Flatts, Tn with a lady who has two papillons like him and a few more rescue pets, His new mom works with the Sullivan County animal shelter. Honey missed scooter so bad for a while as we all did but now he has a yard he can run and play in, he currently is in obedience classes. He is such a cutie pie and we miss him but he has a better home with room to run and play since he has so much energy and a dear sweet lady to care for him so our prayers were answered when she called about him.

Sorry it been so long since my last entry, I went for my first grooing appt last saturday, My mom took me to to be clipped for the first time since she got me back last Oct, I did real good but Di said i was afraid of the table because it was a little wobbly. I am a real cutie pie for sure.
My mom will add some pics as soon as i can,

Just a update:
Nov 28, 2007-My mom and nana took me this morning to have spaying surgery so i won't have to go through the heat cycles. My mom and nana called and checked on me twice. The lady at the vets office said i went through it great and was a little trooper, but they worried about me being there overnight and being by myself in a strange place but i made it ok.

They picked me up this morning and i was happy to see them and they were happy to see me, i came home and they fed me my favorite food (chicken with my dry food and i ate it all because i was very hungry.
