I was tagged by my good friends Patches and Connie! What's the game? You gotta describe what kind of ice cream you look like :) After you do that you tag 10 of your friends and then they say what kind they look like and tag another 10 friends and it keeps happening!
What kind of ice cream do I look like? I'll say milk chocolate with a little bit drop of vanilla
Okay now I tag 10 friends!

To me adoption means a second chance and saving a life, it also means the ability to give back.
A nice lady saved my life when she literally picked me up off of the streets (she fostered me till I was adopted). I got a second chance when my mom saw me at the adoption event. When my mommy adopted me she gave me a new life and in turn I gave her my loyalty and affection.
I’m also able to give back by my therapy work. It had been my mommy’s dream to get a dog that would have the right temperament for a therapy dog so when she got me she immediately started training me for it. About every other week we visit 2 different nursing homes. It’s so fun to see the smiles on the people’s faces when I walk in. One place that I visited I heard that there was a lady there that didn’t speak much, but after I visited her she kept talking about me to the nurses there.
I'm also nominating my mom for the Dog's Best Friend category. She volunteers at the local SPCA and in 2 years has volunteered over 600 hours there. She also has fostered 4 dogs (they all have dogster profiles!) and does pet therapy with me work twice a month and is working on getting Garfield (my feline brother) a certified therapy cat. She's also an adoption counselor which means whenever she volunteers at the SPCA she's the one who adopts out dogs and cats. Oh yeah and one more thing, she started volunteering at the SPCA when she was 12.
(In the photo I'm shaking hands with one of the residents at a nursing home)
Today mommy brought home her new foster dog, Winston the Chihuahua, from the SPCA that she volunteers at. He only weighs like 4 pounds so Garfield is like 3 times as big as he is! I like him so far I let him know who the dominate dog was when he walked in and he didn't mind me doing that. Mommy say's that if he's now adopted within a week than she'll make him a dogster page.
