Eating!! She is a kibble thief- she will eat until she looks pregnant!! Also, LOVES raw carrots.

The word "NO"!, the doorbell....

Favorite Toy:
Tennis Balls, sticks, really ANY toy.....

Favorite Food:
Pro Plan Chicken and Rice

Favorite Walk:

Best Tricks:
Sit, stay. She does a "happy dance"- she "bounces" on her paws in a circle!! Jumping- HIGH!!

Arrival Story:
We had been watching Desert Labrador Retriever Rescue's website for a long time. When her picture appeared we thought "she might be the ONE!" We filled out the online application, got a call from one of their volunteers. She had to meet us, see our yard and other dogs too. Later we drove 2 hours to meet her- fell in LOVE!! The rest is history.....

We think she's part Bloodhound- her rescue Mom couldn't remember her history. Zuni has BIG ears, baggy skin, and a skinny tail. Also, she is always with her nose down - sniffing!!

Have you ever ate your dogs food

All toys! Tennis balls, squeaky toys, knotted rope toys...

Has been known to eat just about ANYTHING!! Sticks, unpopped corn, she loves to "disembowel" stuffed things. Nothing can escape her jaws!

To go for car rides!! She always tries to get into the garage- she know that's where the car is. She is a GREAT traveler- she goes right to sleep!!

Zuni took the Rattlesnake Avoidance class here in Tucson. Of course she passed!!

She snores!! She will even growl in her sleep. Mostly sounds like whimpering!

She "hiccups" in her sleep!

I have observed Zuni wagging her tail in her sleep!! She's SO happy to finally have her "forever" home....

We have many mesquite trees in our yard. When the beans fall off she'll eat them in mass quantity!! Luckily they're a good source of protein.
