Halloween

Hope everyone had a good Halloween! Mom dressed up Isabella as a ladybug and she bought me a hotdog costume! We planned to walk up and down the streets by grandpa's house like last year but that didn't happen. My costume wouldn't stay on (thankfully! BOL!) and Isabella was kind of grumpy that night so we walked around for about 5 minutes before we called it a night. Mom did regret getting me the hotdog costume because it wouldn't stay on. She said she should have gotten me the monkey costume.... theres always next year (ahhh!)

Did everyone vote??? Mom and dad took Isabella to the polls but I had to stay home.... (boo!) but thats ok because Obama won!! Yaaaay!

Its already been a year!!!

I am happy to announce today is my one year anniversary of my adoption from the Kansas Humane Society!! Mom can't believe its already been a year!! She said she can really notice a change from then to now. She says I am much more confident (and a litle bratty! BOL)

As an anniversary present, mom says I am getting a MUCH needed haircut and a new harness. My friend Pippin got a cool personalized harness for his birthday and I told mom I have to have one too!! :)

Well we are waiting for Dad to get home from work and were going for a walk in the park!

The baby is here!

I haven't written in two months! Time really flies by! Mom & Dad decided not to adopt Baxter because we started fighting the next day. He just didn't understand how much him biting my toe made me mad!!

Mom had baby Isabella on Sept 9th. I stayed at Grandma's house for a week. She is so cute! Everytime Isabella wakes up in the middle of the night I follow mom from room to room with Isabella until she goes back to sleep. Mom thinks its funny that I try to comfort Isabella by licking her feet when she cries. I'm just trying to make her feel better!

Mom is getting tired of being home all the time and wants to take me and Isabella to the park for a walk very soon! I am so excited! When mom was pregnant it was very hot out so we didn't go out very much.

Well Isabella will be waking up soon so I am going to take a nap because I am not getting very much sleep just like Mom!!

Baxter

Well we didn't get to meet Baxter Wednesday because his mommy had to go out of town so we finally met him yesterday. Hes about 6 mos younger than I am. He has a baby face (as mom calls it) and was worried about me being too rough with him since I am a hyper boy. Well we went to meet him and Baxter bit me in the toe! He was going crazy because we were in his house. Mom suggested that the four us (me, Bax, mom & dad) take a little stroll to get on neutral ground. Well can you believe it mom and dad actually brought him HOME with us?!?!? After he bit my toe!!! Mom said she wanted Baxter to spend the night to see how things go. Well I'm still not sure about this whole thing. One minute I think it will be ok to have a brother then the next minute I'm not sure anymore. Mom says I need to quit hogging all the toys and share. Everytime Baxter has a toy I decide I want the toy he has. Did I mention we went to Petsmart after we picked up Baxter and got new toys? I didn't know they were "OUR" toys.... she wants me to SHARE!!

Last night was not the greatest....mom doesn't let me sleep on the bed with them at night so I usually sleep under the bed. Well Baxter got to sleep in the bed with them last night! SO NOT FAIR!! Mom said she only allowed him to sleep with them because he kept crying non-stop. He finally settled down (at 6am!) on the bed mom made him.

Mom keeps telling me to give Baxter a chance. He follows me EVERYWHERE (which is what little brothers do I'm told). Hes trying to be nice after he bit me! Well mom & dad are leaning towards keeping him so we'll see.... he just needs to remember I AM THE BIG BROTHER!!!!

Hello again...

I haven't checked in for awhile....things are not to exciting around here. Its been so hott mom has not taken me for a walk in a while :( We moved into a new house so I do have a big back yard to play in so thats a plus.

I do have SOME exciting news today.... I might be getting a brother again!! Mom and dad have been on the hunt. We went back to the Humane Society where I was adopted and met a Begal they wanted me to meet but when we went back he was gone. Dad was kind of irritated because we called before we went up there to make sure he was still there and they said yes. Mom is just happy he found a home. Meanwhile they saw an ad in the paper for another Cockerspaniel who is in need of a good home. His mom cares about him very much but just doesn't have the time to spend with him. Mom talked to her on the phone yesterday and we have plans to meet him today. His name is Baxter.... I will keep you updated!

BORED!!!

Mom is really starting to bore me!! When she has the energy to actually take me for a walk it always starts raining!!! Its very frustrating! We found out mom is going to have a baby girl! We have decided to name her Isabella. Mom said she can't wait for the four of us to all go on walks and go to the park.

Last week we found a little female chihuahua. She got into grandma's yard and grandpa told her to come rescue her before the dobermans found her! Well Oscar was very much in love with her! BOL!! He even shared his bed with her! And let me tell you, Oscar DOES NOT SHARE! At least not with me. Anyways we wanted to make her a part of the family but my uncle ended up taking her in. At least she will have a good home. When grandma found her she was so scared and didn't want to come near any of us. Then when grandma fed her she warmed up pretty fast. Well... this is probably going to be another BORING week....The Wichita River Festival is this week and dogs are not allowed! Boooo! So mom and dad will go without me :(

I am political!

Mom bought me a "political" toy today BOL! Its a blue donkey with 2008 written on it. Go Obama!

I barely got it about 30 mins ago and I have already destuffed it! (my favorite thing to do with cotton toys!) Mom said if she would have known I would have ripped it apart so fast she would have bought me the republican elephant so we could take out our "dislike" for ol' Georgie! BOL!

Lazy days

Not much is happening lately. The weather got warm but its been really chilly and rainy the past few days so no walks for us :( Mom has been really tired lately. The baby is taking a beating on her! She is getting sick now. The baby only wants to eat cereal for some reason. Everything else comes back up! Ugh! But I like cereal and mom always shares :)

Mom said that they get to find out what the baby is on April 29th. We are excited! I will finally know if I am getting a brother or sister!
