Cookie was a spur of the moment addition to our family in 1999. We had bought a male Pointer the previous year and he was restless and needed a friend to keep him company. So we started going though the newspaper and there it was an ad for pointer puppies in our area. So we got in the car (Bailey included) and headed down just to look at puppies. Cookie was the feistiest of the puppies and got our attention by jumping all over Bailey and latching onto his collar. We bought her on the spot and have lover her since!
Bio:
Up until last year Cookie was a puppy in an adult dog's body. She would bolt out doors, was impossible to walk, and the moment she spotted a bird there was no chance getting her attention. She was trained extensively since age two and yet it took nearly six years for all our had work to come to fruition. She can now be trusted off lead in public areas and is one of the most well behaved dogs we know.
