Arrival Story: My new family came to visit me on October 6th to see if I was the right puppy sister for them! They fell in love with me and I got to come home a week later! I love my new sisters....although they aren't quite sure about me yet! I know I will win them over soon!
Bio: My Mom is Lucy's doggie Aunt so that would make me Lucy's fur cousin!

Sunday will be my first Birthday! I am so excited. Today Mom cleaned out our toys and took at least 50-60 toys to the shelter and also made a cash donation in my name for my Birthday. I hope all the puppies at the shelter have a fun toy to play with now. I still have lots of toys left and I am very lucky to have a furever family. I just hope that the furs at the shelter will someday know the love of a family as I do.

Last night Mom noticed a bump on my lower belly. She was so worried and called the vet first thing this morning. I went to the vet tonight and they said I have an inguinal hernia. The doctor is choosing to repair when I am spayed at 5 months. He said the risk of anesthesia is greater than the chance of something else going wrong. The risks of not repairing the hernia now is an intestinal loop (I think he called it). This can be fatal but is rare and he has only seen 1 in 20 years of practice and has seen a lot of these types of hernias. So we will keep an eye on it and it may go away on it's own. We don't know if it was caused by my accident the other night, if it was then it may not go away on it's own. So we are going to be very nervous and cautious until it is repaired but it was pretty good news considering.
Some very good news is that my sister Isabelle has finally accepted me tonight! She has ignored me since I came home over a month ago. Mom has started leaving me out of my playpen the last few days so maybe that had something to do with it. Tonight Isabelle started playing with me and we had such a great time! ♥
