Arrival Story:
I remember when I first got her. Ever since I was a kid, I wanted a dog but my parents would never let me have one until we moved to SC. We moved Aug. 1997, and I expected to get one then. I was starting to get disapointed when I didn't get one for a couple of months so I wrote a little note entitled, "The Dog I will Never Hold in My arms." I believe it was after my mom read that note, that Nov. 3, 1997 we went to the Human Society. There were several puppies there that I wanted, but my sister (Mary) kept on pointing out Junifer who was with her 2 other siblings. There was another family buying another female of the litter which left June and her brother. Finally, I agreed with Mary and my parents told them that we wanted her. A couple of hours later, we came back to pick her up and the shelter had her and her brother ready for us. It was soo sad having to say we could only take one, and the misunderstanding the shelter had about us taking both. So now I wonder, where are June's siblings and how are they doing.
