Today is my Birthday!

I'm dancin'! Today I turn 11! It's been a great day full to love and treats! Yum!Hey, you're only as old as you feel! I'm still a young baby at heart!

Christmas 2007

Man, I had such a great Christmas Day!I had a stocking full of goodies! I also got a new purple collar and harness, 2 new dresses, and 2 new sweaters in addition to new treats of course! This was the first Christmas I spent with my little brother...oh yeah...to all of you that didn't know, I got a new brother earlier this month. His name is Bear. He always tries to steal the spotlight and take all of the attention, but other than that, he's cool! I spent time with my grandpa and mingling with the family on Christmas. Mom even let me munch on the ham bone for my big Christmas treat! It was an awesome day! I can't wait until next year! ;)

Thanksgiving '07

What a wonderful day! I had the best Thanksgiving yesterday! After mom got home from visiting my great grandma, she packed me up and we went to my grandpa's house. I call him the Dog father....he's the dog's best friend! He filled my belly up with turkey and ham. Boy was I sure happy! I had a big ol' belly by the end of the night! I took a nap in his bed and played with him and my aunt dog named Azula for a few hours before going home. What a great day! I hope all my dog pals had just as much fun!

Wowza! I made some great friends!

I was so excited to visit the dog park today! I met my yahoo group: SA Small Dogs. They were all so much fun, but I was super nervous when we got there. Mom had to carry me in because all of the big dogs were right by the enterance. Dexter was the first little guy to greet me. We just did a lot of sniffing. Ko Min approached me next. Boy, she sure has plenty of puppy energy!! B and Bruce were also there. B was so calm just like me and Bruce was all about the fun like Ko Min. They were all so much fun and I can't wait for a chance to see them all again. They were very friendly and such a cool pack of dogs! I can't wait to see them again.

I betcha' I know what she was buying me.....yippee! I know it's almost time for Christmas 'cause I saw some wrapping paper already! I sure hope she got my favorite yogurt and some new clothes...my shirts look a little faded and my sweaters are sometimes a little tight on my pansa (belly).

BRRRRRRR!

I forgot what cold weather was like. Usually mom lets me out in the morning to do my thing, but now I hate getting out of bed...I just wanna' stay in bed and snuggle with my baby. When mom finally forces me outside, I make it a 30 second trip out and back in because its way too cold for me. Mom better stock up on some sweaters!

Here's some stuff about me!

1. I am always a happy dog. I really am never grumpy to my human! I do like to bark at my grandma because it's funny when she tries to bark louder!

2. I love kids for a teensie weensie amount of time because they start to annoy me when they are too rough. I usually retreat to my room until they are all gone

3. I love Beefeaters brand yogurt. It's my favorite treat. My mom buys it for me at dog.com

4. I will eat anything you give me...but mom is real particular about what i'm allowed to have since I have such a sensative stomach...but everything tastes soooooo goood!

5. I am a cuddler! I love taking naps with my mom. When I'm super relaxed, I snore like an adult man....mom says it's quite weird!

6. I love Christmas because mom always buys me some new treats and clothes. YIPPEEEE!

7. I love swimming, but I hate taking a bath. How weird is that!?!

*Sigh*

I can't believe the end of the year is already approaching! How exciting! I love November because I get to hang out under the Thanksgiving table and eat any pieces of food the kids accidentally drop...fun huh!?

Update: Mom was really worried about me after the whole vet ordeal, but I'm ok. She let me nap next to her and check on me constantly because my back kept twitching. Luckily by morning, the twitching stopped and I was back to my old hunky-dory self. We went for a long walk that afternoon and it was great! The weather was wonderful and I got to take a long nap once we got home.

Trip to the Vet....GRRRRRRR!

Well, today was the hated vet trip day. We tried a new office because the last office had vet techs that were way too rough....This office was just as bad. The guy poked me with the needle and accidentally let go while it was dangling from my skin and had the nerve to say "ouch" to himself! Mom was sure P.O'ed with those people and didn't think this vet trip was worth her $60.00... Then to top it off...my back keeps shaking so we may have to go back to the vet if this doesn't stop soon (mom is afraid it is a reaction to the shots, which never has happened before).....hopefully we'll find a descent office with nice people that are way more careful for our next visit. Mom used online reviews to find this office which had 5 stars...I guess those people just had better vet techs working that day because this place sure was awful!

A Day in the life..

So here's what a typical day looks like for me...


I wake Mom up at about 8:30 to go potty by poking her in the elbow and stomping my feet on the wood floors. I only stay outside for about 10 minutes and paw at the door to come in. I immediately go back to bed until 12, which I get up for lunch. After my hearty lunch, I go play with my neighbor, Simone for about an hour or so. Later, I come in and watch a little tv and go back to bed until about 5, when it's time to eat again for dinner. After that, I go out one last time to play before bed. Then the next morning it starts allllllll over again. Gee, what a life!!! Are you jealous? Atleast I don't have to spend the day behind a desk! HA!
